Creative Sound BlasterX G1 7.1 Portable HD Gaming USB DAC and Sound Card (70SB171000000)

La compré para mi Huawei P30 Lite aunque no es oficialmente soportado. Al principio el sonido se escuchaba más bajo que la del mismo teléfono, pero cuando la usé con la app Neutrón music player, lo que descubrí fue asombroso, no tan sólo se escuchaba mejor, sino que el volumen aumentó muchísimo, tanto que lo tenía en los valores mínimos, cosa que con los DAC no pasaba. Estoy muy contento y la recomiendo en Android no para las funciones de audio básicas, sino para escuchar música con apps que controlan el DAC por USB como HIBY, Neutrón music player , USB Audio Player o el Onkyo HD.

Ho deciso di acquistare questa scheda USB per migliorare l'audio del mio PC accoppiandola a delle cuffie della Audio-Technica. Mi ha permesso di ottenere un ottima virtualizzazione 7.1 con la possibilità di gestire molti parametri come l'intensità dell'audio spaziale, i bassi, la possibilità di dare priorità alle "voci" ecc. La consiglio a chi non ha pretese esagerate ma vuole un buon comparto audio.

I remember when my dad got me a sound blaster for my 486 computer with a cd rom drive. I could finally watch movies on my pc. lol I bought this sound blaster cause my headphone jack broke. I was gonna get a cheaper alternative but was worried about the quality so I decided to pay a bit extra and get a sound blaster USB sound card with the 3.5 mm headphone jack. What can I say it works perfectly. Plug and Play to connect. No hissing sound. Volume is nice and loud. The sound quality is amazing. Highly recommend this sound card to boost your audio quality or if you have a broken headphone jack.

Purchased this Creative G1 USB DAC because a silicon bead got stuck into my Macbook's headphone jack rendering it in-accessible. So I had to use a USB DAC, and came across this when browsing for USB sound card options. What is this? Creative Sound BlasterX G1 is a 7.1 compatible, Gaming USB sound card. It also features a better quality DAC which helps in boosting the sound quality overall. Creative claims this model can drive upto 600 ohms headphones. Most surround-sound gaming headphones (entry level to Pro) will support this USB DAC. It does not feature any controls on the device. Just the housing, and a 3.5mm analog port for headphones. When powered, the X glows in red. Very simple, and that's how it is very very effective. *Performance* Plugged in without any expectations, and was blown away with the improvement in SQ. For any casual listener this USB DAC is an extremely "awesome", and for most audiophiles and enthusiasts this would bring a smile definitely. Most of the iTunes song with true to the source SQ are played back extremely well. The bump in SQ is definitely noticeable. Being a gamin focused USB DAC, this generally tend to boost the low frequencies a bit. But I find that to be okay. Infact, the lows, highs and mids are boosted relatively well that any casual listener would feel like a bliss. I did not try any FLAC files so far. But judging by the performance so far, I think FLAC will definitely make you smile a lot. *Conclusion* Highly recommended for anyone who plays games, or listens to music (compressed / uncompressed). Purists may have a slightly different opinion. But for most prosumer needs G1 ticks all the requirements without breaking your wallet. A very compact package as well.
