Tunze USA 3152.000 Automatic Top off Nano Osmolator for Aquariums Under 55-Gallon This has been probably the most useful piece of equipment I have for my reef tank. Simple, quick and painless installation. Keeps water levels and my salinity constant. A few less things for me to do and more time enjoying my reef, love it. I wouldn't reef without this piece of equipment ever again. I researched every ATO system out there and all paths lead to this and I have no regretted it. I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!You simply-Attach all the tubing per the instructions-Place the pump in the water reservoir-Place the magnetic float meter in your desired location at the waters surface level (if you place it to high, the pump will pump water until the float is switched to the off position - reducing your salinity)-Thread the tubing through the plastic hold with suction cups and place where you want the reservoir to pump water to (mine was in my sump, mostly because I wanted to hide the wiring but also because I like the freshwater to mix with saltwater before being pumped into the display tank)-Plug it in and testNote: some times you will hear the pump pulsing (short frequent vibrations), I simply shake the pump under water to "prime it" which means to take the air out of the machine and unplug/replug it in and it will work again. It's not really a defect but a way of telling you to get the air out. By the way, its only happened 2 times in the past 6-7 months. Received defective item and seller do not want to take responsibility of it and told me that I broke it.Terrible customer service, avoid at all costs, never seen before in my entire life.Recommend to buy from other retailers with peace of mindI’d leave zero star for this item and seller if I could.

I own two of these, and like the description says, it works well for a tank up to 55 gallons. I have one of mine set for a 12 gallon tank - the lower top off limited amount - and one for a 55 gallon - the higher amount.My only note is that as this is designed for a nano tank, it seems reasonable to assume there won't be a sump. In that case, I find this doesn't work amazingly well in a main tank. You have to be really careful with how you position your pumps such that there is very little wave action to force the float to go up and down. I had to really play with my pumps, a tunze 6025 and a jebao wp25 to make sure there was no pulsing action. Otherwise, up and down the float goes, on and off the pump goes, and your tank overflows, given the time.It does work reliably and it is so well priced compared to other options out there. It deserves 5 stars - you should just understand it's limitations in a sumpless system.

Quite, works aGreat. Better than other ATO that I had. Pump can be replaced easily. One sensor which I love, I hated the 2 sensor ones bc one would fail. I will buy Tunze ATO fot now on.

this is replacing a duetto that stopped working after a couple years, I have faith this Tunze will not do the same. Gave it four stars because I just got it
