Old mold
Apparently this mold is from the 70s if that's possible. As a result the surfaces lack detail. Lots of flash, bleed and injection marks. You will spend as much time filing and sanding as assembly. Design wise the fit is decent. Cockpit lacks detail. I'm only halfway through and I have some concerns about the folding wings. We shall see. I am using it as a way to improve painting and weathering techniques before I spend some real money on the Tamika version.

Vought F4U-1A Corsair
Pervenuto nel termine previsto, dopo 50 anni mi sono riproposto ad una costruzione di un modello di aereo in plastica. Devo dire che lo stampaggioi dei vari elementi è molto buono, con qualche piccola sbavatura che alcuni colpi di limetta eliminnano tranquillamente. A mio parere sarebbero da irrobustire le cerniere delle ali, ma daltronde il modello non è un giocattolo. Soddisfatto. Speriamo di non aver perso la mano nella verniciatura.
