Beautiful
This came to me with very little damaged besides the front cover but it is just a small piece. The book otherwise is in beautiful condition with minimal highlighting and notes. However, I find this helpful to me!

Was great use then
This book was on edition lower than what my professor wanted but it still had all the pertinent information at the time. Helped me pass a lot of tests

Excellent Service
Got it really quick and it was better than expected - looked like new.

Thorough and well-written
Easy to read textbook with many very interesting examples. It is easy to follow for a non-biologist and also a good choice for a cell biologist or something like that that does not know very much about animal behavior or zoology.

I really like John Alcock's approach
I really like John Alcock's approach, and the book is really clear and well written. However, despite some changes in the oerder of chapters, there was not much change in content in relation to the 9th edition that would warrant this new version. Since there is a new one coming out soon, I think it may be best wait for it.

good
It is easy to read and understand. It conteins plenty of examples for each topic. You can begin with whatever chaptor you want. One point of dissatisfaction is that the captions of the figures are too short to be evaluated perfect.

Beautiful pictures but rather 'sciency'
Occasional humour and gorgeous colourful full page photo spreads keep me interested but it's a bit dry and too heavy on science for an arts student like me. simple math too.

A great book on Animal Behaviour.
A great book on the study of animal behaviour, and a precious help for Ontogeny subjects both on Development Biology and Conservation Biology.
