Where are all the reviews?
I never review items on Amazon; I'm more of a lurker. But I felt bad that this book hasn't received its due attention.I found this book incredibly helpful for learning about the modern landscape of design. The goal of the book is not to argue the case for Photoshop as a must-use, be-all tool for web design - that day has passed; rather, the book recognizes that although Photoshop might be deemed inefficient at many tasks nowadays (designing in the browser is a great way to go), it's still an amazing tool for many key stages in the design process. The author has a great grasp of the tools and tricks out there for hooking in to Photoshop's potential in the web development process - his discussion of plugins and workflows really gets the mind going. The book is an amazing resource. Photoshop has been poo-poo'd of late and many people have gone to the likes of Sketch for their UI work, but this book really works to explore where Photoshop shines and how its tools can service the busy designer in a way that I've appreciated - all while recognizing and exploring the other tools and methods that are out there, as well.I bought this book right as it came out and sat aghast that it took forever for it to post a single review. I'm glad I purchased it when I did, too, because otherwise, I may not have purchased it - it's a great book, but who's buying it, much less reviewing it? It's sad. I've purchased a number of web-related books - particularly books related to web design - and they so often fall flat. This book offers amazing insight and incredible resources related to the modern face of web design. I'd recommend it to anyone that works in the industry. It really comes from a place of knowledge and experience. This book is by Adobe, so maybe suspect that the author is "not up on the times" of Photoshop-bashing, but that is so not the case. Give the book a view, please. If Web Design and/or UI/UX work is your "thing", you really should take a look-see.

A lot of interesting information
Good book to read. I read it in two days. I'll still be reselling it at the end of the semester. Didn't really have anything to do with our course. Still the textbook for next semester.

Clustered nonsense.
This guy is a content management person, obviously--he could probably pull a WAMP move-his book is too wannabe-and that is what over half the book is--wannabe-mostly a advertisement for things that just complicate your life if you don't know web design and hack mostly. Waste of time -go for the CSS3 Jquery books--its compatible in all browsers and mobile devices--that's what you use if you know web design now---unless your a content management person who can't put two and two together. The global audience is where its at--not the IE10 tablet crowd.--

Not for beginners. Very broad. Mac & CC specific.
This gives a good broad outline on workflow when it comes to using Adobe in RWD, Big caveats though. 1) Some of the useful software in this workflow is Mac only ie: Pagelayers. 2) One of the main features he uses in Photoshop is the Generator only in CC, so if you are not up to date, you still have to extract image assets manually. 3) Its very broad and almost completely about the design process. It really only speaks to designers who already know their html/css and already have understading of media queries.

Must read for a UI designer
This book is a must read for any UI Designer that still appreciates being creative. Easy to read and invaluable for anyone who is struggling with the idea that you should design in the browser. This book does a great job of showing and proving that that isn't the case. I'm going to make this a required read for my UI design.team .

A very useful and interesting insight into a Web Design Workflow
This was not quite what I was expecting: to be shown how to use PS to actually design responsive web sites - the intricacies. Instead, it explains how PS fits into a responsive design workflow alongside designing in the browser and a more interactive, involving approach to elaborating a design.Whilst it wasn't what I expected it actually turned out to be an interesting and informative read with some extremely useful advice and direction. I'm very glad I read it and would recommend it to anyone who is either starting out or who feels their (or their organisation's) workflow is inefficient. The style is approachable and easy to understand. Highly recommended.

Insomma
