The tank is better because you don’t have to remove it, and the brush attatchmeny is much stronger than the 1940. Without even trying I realized the 1806 brush cleans my grout with no effort! The brush on the 1940 was pretty useless. They both come with pads and I bought some extra as well. **Q: how hot does it get** A: It gets as hot as the boiling point of water at your location. At sea level, 212 degrees F. In Denver, the Mile High City, only about 202 degrees F. **Q: Is this 110v only or does it include 220v as well** A: Hi Budi - this is 110v only. **Q: Which it is the difference between the model 1806 and 1940** A: In addition to the manufacture's reply, the 1940 has 3 steam levels (low, medium, high) while 1806 has only 2 steam levels. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ Defective machine *by on Reviewed in Australia 16 December 2023* Machine not steaming and incorrect plug, we wish to return this item but I see it has an american return address We are not prepared to pay postage to America it will be far too expensive. There should be an address in Australia to return it to and even then we should not have to pay postage as the machine is faulty ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fácil de usar, potente, 100% recomendado *by on Reviewed in Mexico 24 July 2022* Es extremadamente fácil de usar y muy potente. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Creditable seller and great customer service *by on Reviewed in Singapore 14 October 2020* Great customer services. We forgot to check the voltage difference between US and Singapore, product can not be used in Singapore. Seller has reached out promptly and followed up to ensure refund has been processed promptly. It’s a pity we cannot use the product, but the customer service is really good. Thank you. ## Frequently Bought Together - Bissell Steam Mop, Steamer, Tile, Hard Wood Floor Cleaner, 1806, Sapphire Powerfresh Deluxe - 6 Pack 1940 for Bissell Steam Mop Pads for Bissell PowerFresh Steam Mop 1806 1544 1440 2075A 2685A 1940W 19404 Series, Model 19402 19408 1940a 1940f 1940q 1940t B0006 B0017, Part #5938#203-2633 - Maitys 24 Pieces Replacement Steam Mop Scent Disc Practical Fragrance Scented Pads Fragrance Discs, Compatible with Powerfresh and Symphony Series, Fits Model 1940, 1806 and 1132 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/253945107-bissell-steam-mop-steamer-tile-hard-wood-floor-cleaner-1806](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/253945107-bissell-steam-mop-steamer-tile-hard-wood-floor-cleaner-1806) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
