I had previously bought the smaller version for my Droid Razr Maxx, but it was a little tight when used with my wife's Samsung Galaxy S5 which is enclosed in a protective case. It fits great in this larger model. Some of the things that I really like about this product are: - Quality construction - It seems to be very well built and it looks like it will last for years.
