Awful. This product was terrible and I have already reviewed it once. They asked me to remove the review and they would refund the purchase and that never happened so I am putting the review back up so others will know. No remote. It is not quiet. My kids have had a jelly fish lamp for years and it finally went out so I replaced it with this. It was terrible. It was loud, kept them up at night, it cut on and off constantly. I could hear it in my room. The water was bubbly and cloudy looking in it. There is no remote and it changed colors constantly and you cannot make it stay on one color like it says you can. It was very annoying and we decided to purchase the other one we had for years again and it is great.

It is absolutely fantastic, we are all in love with this jellyfish lamp, it does not make any sound which allows you to sleep without any interference. it is of excellent quality. I have bought other jelly fish lamp and compared to others, this has been the best. Someday I will buy the one that comes with the remote control. I am very demanding with the products and this one has not disappointed me, very impressive. I don't know when it will last, but for now everything is fine.

My daughter is 5. I wanted to purchase a lava lamp but came across this. It is a pretty neat product. She loves it! It took a while to get the jellyfish to cooperate and move as intended. YES, we followed the directions by adding dish soap, placing the jellyfish iupside down, and poking them to relieve any air bubbles. It just took A LOT of poking and swirling to work (which my daughter enjoyed doing). My only real issue is that it makes an unpleasant sound. The motor sounds weird.NOT remote controlled. Tiny USB cord only, so you have to have your own adapter to use

Not the best jellyfish combination, other products have these neon spots on the jellyfish, but these do not. Also 2 instead of 3.2 fish, which is a big bonus. Others have none.Remote is important, as you can can so much more appeal out of it. Others ones without remote are much worse than this because of that. Also if you rack up multiple light up products, the remotes are universal.If you have one of these in your cart for ~$40, make sure it has remote, this one does and has a lot of things in the water so not a bad choice.

I got this jellyfish light for my son's 9th birthday. It was a big hit with the kids as it is really cool to look at. However, it is just much too loud. It will be quiet for a few seconds and then noisy when the pump goes on to generate air bubbles. My son was hoping to keep this dim light on in his room but it's just too loud. Unfortunately, we haven't used it and would have returned it but the deadline for returns has passed since I was holding onto it as a birthday gift.
