Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars: The Role Playing Anniversary Edition

I was amazed by the quality of this re-release. With the exception of a handful of pages and logos, it's a completely faithful recreation of the original books, right down to the trade dress (even the few alterations are done to 'blend in' with the style as much as possible.) The game's rules do, perhaps, show their age a bit, and aren't as slick as many modern rule sets, but it's still easy to understand, easy to learn, only requires basic d6's rather than specialty dice, and the books are great about conveying a fun feel. (Note for modern fans - this portrayal of the universe isn't as jedi-centric as you might be used to, and the rules for force powers might feel a bit skimpy.) Both rpg systems, and the Star Wars setting, have moved on in the time since its release, but it remains worth a look.

A excellent reprint of a classic RPG! The real gem lies in the many retro photos of the movies during the 1970s.

Although interestingly I believe this is simply a reprint of the same books I had in 1987, which means it's missing the 4-page errata and rules clarification that was stuffed into every supplement I bought. Still, who really knows. Maybe it's a later version that includes that.Great system though and really one of the better things ever put out in the field of Pen and Paper RPG

Si lo que quieres es una base simple sobre la cual construir tus historias, esta edición es la mejor. Si lo que buscas son reglas concretas para todo entonces es mejor buscar otras ediciones.
