Review: Best Antacid on the market. - After years of tums, gaviscone, and everything else on the market, I always return to Pepcid chewables. Good flavor, not as chalky as other alternatives, and the flavor is refreshing and quite good. These give me the long-lasting relief from heartburn that I look for. (I know that sounds EXACTLY like a commercial, but it's true). Once I switched to Pepcid, I've never bought anything else except in a pinch. It's just a pity their price has gotten increasingly high over the years. Still worth it, though!
