The reason I think this is a really great product is because, first and foremost, it's tasty! It's not often that you find health supplements that kids would enjoy taking. Further, it's designed specifically for kids which shows thoughtfulness on the manufacturer's part. The inclusion of elderberry extract is a definite advantage, given all the health benefits associated with it. Highly recommend this for parents looking to boost their children's immune system.

My daughter is in Kindergarten and we've had a rough year with illnesses. I am reviewing this product less than a week after purchasing it because I am so impressed with the results. After school on Friday my daughter started sneezing, followed by her nose running like a faucet on Saturday, and she started coughing. Saturday night the fever began and she looked bad. I had my husband purchase Sambucus after reading about it online. I gave her 2 teaspoons in the evening, and I was prepared to bring her to the pediatrician in the morning. By morning, the coughing subsided a little, her nose was no longer running and she looked better. She had a mild temperature. We continued the Sambucus treatment throughout the day. By evening, the fever was gone. She was well enough to go to school on Monday, with no fever still. She still sounds a bit nasal and has a minor cough, but her symptoms continue to improve. Usually when she gets a fever, it persists and the symptoms are a lot worse before they improve. I feel that Sambucus lessened the severity and amount of the amount of time of her symptoms. I will be purchasing this product a lot more in the future through Amazon.

This is the only thing on the planet my 3 year old will voluntarily take to help her cold or allergies. We know its not a cold medicine, it is really just meant to give the immune system a kick. I actually notice a difference in how I feel when I take this. It could be a placebo effect, who knows, but I find it works for our family. Downside is price. Boy oh boy is this pricey! I havent been able to find a good price anywhere! This is our favorite brand though, as far as flavor is concerned.
