This lotion is like magic ✨ I had a very bad sunburn on my legs. I used this stuff twice and woke up and my sunburn had faded a lot. I highly recommend this and am so happy I purchased this. I’m not sure why a lot of people make it sound like this product smells awful. I don’t find the smell to be bad at all. Smells like regular lotion to me. It felt very cool and helped the burning feeling a lot. If you’re looking for something to help your burns and work quickly, this is definitely a magical product.

This stuff is actual magic. I'm as white as Elmer's glue and if I'm not careful I'll burn in the blink of an eye. This miracle takes all the sting and heat out of a burn within minutes of application. I'll stay pink for a day or two, but I don't feel like I have a burn anymore. I've bathed in vinegar, kept aloe gel in the fridge, slathered on Solarcane, and NOTHING comes close to working like Burt's Bees After Sun Lotion. It's worth It's weight in gold!!

Does the job, yes! Smell, do not love... It takes a little while to actually rub it in all the way but leaves the skin feeling like a good natural moisture. Not oily at all, which I really like. I just did not expect it to smell like it does. Smell does dissipate pretty quick so just the initial application smell is rough then it is fine. I went on a cruise and used this after the sun each day and it worked great, I didn't burn and skin felt good. I do put sunscreen on but not like all the time, this has been a good recovery cream to help my skin not peel or burn when I got too much sun. (Which I did several days)

Nothing truly “cures” a sunburn, but this definitely helped when I got a little too much sun and ended up red without being completely scorched. It cooled my skin nicely, felt hydrating, and seemed to help protect my skin enough that I didn’t peel afterward. The scent is pleasant without being overpowering and the lotion absorbs well without feeling sticky. I’ve actually recommended it to friends and they’ve liked it too.
