these are soft gels, not capsules, and they are very small and very easy to swallow!! the are approximately the size of a sunflower seed (a shelled sunflower seed/not in the shell). they are also the very best vitamin d3 so far that we've found, because it is made with pure olive oil instead of soybean oil!! if doctor's best ever begins using soybean oil, which by the way is gmo (genetically modified organisms) and very unhealthy, we will find another vitamin d3 supplement!! pure olive oil is the best!! the label on these now states they are gmo free or non-gmo, which makes them even better!!!!!!!!
