Q: Random question for the people who bought this. I heard that you can pop off the little square at the bottom and it's lip balm, is that true?

In my opinion, it's not really a balm, but more of a sample of the lipstick for brush applications rather than ruining the point of the stick itself.

Q: Does this product really have lip balm in the bottom compartment?

It's actually not a lip balm - it's the same formula as the lipstick, just a little extra in the bottom so that you can see the color from the outside. This way, you have a true-to-color preview before you open it - because it's literally just the product in a clear cap. This was told to me by an employee at the e.l.f. store in the glendale galleria. Apparently if it were a lip balm, it would have to have its own section in the ingredients.
