Is this paper eatable? If I wrap with candy, can I eat the rice paper too?

Yes this paper is edible. I use it to make an Italian candy called Torrone which requires a top and bottom layer of the wafer paper that covers the gooy nuget in between.

What does the grade mean?

The grade refers to the thickness of the paper. This grade is the thinnest, although it is the most popular in the US. We also sell a thicker paper. Search on Amazon for Oasis Supply Premium Wafer Paper. Our paper is not flavored and therefore has not taste.

Can this be used with a Crucut cutting machine for cakes?

I bet a cake cricut would work, I have a cake cricut but haven’t tried it with this product. It’s food safe and meant for gum paste/sugar sheets.

Read reviews on rice paper & have seen comments about it not melting properly onto the cake. Has anyone had this problem?

The rice paper should never melt onto the cake, the proper way to place rice paper images on a cake is using a thin layer of fondant under the paper. Brush some water on the fondant (all over) and then place the paper on top of the fondant . Start with the center then work your way out . . Then you place on the cake . No wrinkles or melting should happen.
