Dr Mercola uses organic and biodynamic farming- whenever possible. So it can be a guess depending on availability. Regardless, it is the cleanest products and highly recommended by my integrative doctors, and they wouldn’t tell their patients to use it if there were issues with quality. I buy this product regularly for my Lymes disease.

Please be assured that all of our products, including consumable products such as dietary supplements are required to comply with applicable standard practices, laws and regulations. This includes adhering to the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).

Each one of Dr. Mercola’s consumable products is tested for specific parameters based upon each products individual ingredients and unique characteristics. Dietary supplement testing covers a wide range of testing methods which are pertinent to each individual product. Testing may include: analytical, microbiological, physical, allergenic, organoleptic, heavy metal, stability and any others deemed necessary.

Tests are performed by accredited 3rd party independent labs, whom have great national reputation, or have been tested using scientifically validated methods such as those developed by USP and AOAC. USP (United States Pharmacopeia) and AOAC (Association of Analytical Chemists) are two independent organizations that set standards and develop testing methods for use by the supplement industry. You can rest assured that each supplement product is tested for safety prior to being released and offered for sale. Any product that fails testing is not approved or released for sale.

In addition to our testing requirements, all of our contract manufacturers are required to be audited by a reputable third party certifier, and/or have been audited by Dr. Mercola’s Quality Control and scientific staff. Dr. Mercola and his quality team believe audits are a critical component to ensure that all product specifications are being met and all standard practices, laws and regulations are being properly adhered to.
