To me they represent history, math-in-nature, and the inter-connectedness of things. These miniature treasures are cast sterling silver and show beautiful detail in the tiny stairstep nooks and crannies. This is my Medium size, measuring about 15mm in diameter (just under 5/8"). These ones have an iridescent Liver of Sulfur patina finish - colors will vary, no two alike. Sterling silver posts, hypoallergenic titanium backings. Who loves these?
