Seller doesn't know its own product.
Had a problem with unit finding my location. Checked with seller who sarcastically said I could 'return it'. I checked with MagellanGPS.com. Support explained how I should/could correct the problem. The manufacturer was great. Seller receives two thumbs down, thus the 4 stars.

Ineffective
I like the size and weight for portability.I found this model very difficult to work with. It took many hours of trying to contact Support to update the maps. The updates produces incomplete and erroneous results. Could not even register my own address. Unfortunately, the company is going out of business and, as result, the product quality and customer support is deteriorating. Need to consider other makers.

Magellan roadmate
I do not travel often, but when I do I never go without my Magellan roadmate. I don't know how I got around without it. I have no fears of getting lost.
