Lanolin is the best source for vitamin D. It comes from sheep wool when it's washed. It does not come from the skin of the dead animal.

Solgar vitamin D3

I appreciate Solgar selling vitamin D3 separately from K2. The reason being my blood work showed my doctor that when I buy things over-the-counter it'll have too much of one or not enough of the other and I can't ever get the one that's combined correct. So she suggested me buying vitamin D3 from Solgar separately from K2. So I bought both of them separately and both from Solgar. Now I'm getting the exact amount I need.I've been a user of Solgar products for a long time and I've always been pleased with the quality. Plus I have a hard time with digestion so these really work well because they digest easy. And I don't think the price is terribly bad. No side effects or anything. Win-win!
