Michael Jackson - Number Ones (Pvg) Paperback – April 1, 2008

I got this for my teen daughter because she is a huge Michael Jackson music fan. This book is great and the level isn't too difficult (on most of the songs). Definitely at least intermediate level though.This book has a lot of great music numbers in it and they're fun to listen to when my daughter plays them.Overall a great book to have if you're a fan of Michael Jackson's music.

This was an awesome gift. I bought it for my brother who loves playing the piano and who just happens to love Michael Jackson songs. The music is very detailed with bass/treble cleft and words to each song so the whole family can sing along. I just happen to read music and be a singer so this gift worked out perfectly, we both can stay on the right key. I also enjoyed the added pictures of Michael Jackson in the beginning of the book. This is good for intermediate to advanced artists (piano, singers, etc) that are looking to develop their musical skills with popular tunes. Love it !!! Highly recommend this product, plus it came right on time.

A very nice book for everyone who likes popsongs. Some songs are not too hard to play but a few are a bit difficult because there are a lot of flat's in it. But if you can play reading chordsymbols you will have a lot of fun with this book.

I purchased this for my 12-year-old daughter who loves piano and MJ. She was thrilled with this book. she has been taking piano lessons for about 5 years. I had to come up with some piano music for her for summer since our piano teacher is on maternity leave. I can't get her away from the piano. She just loves this book. She wants to play this all the time. It's great to see her with so much enthusiasm. I highly recommend this for intermediate to advanced piano skills.

Most PVG books are written with the melody line replicated into the piano grand staves so that it is easily playable as a piano solo. This is not one of them and a pianist not trained or not able to read 3 staves at once will not be able to play it as a solo piece. This is not necessarily bad if the piano is only accompanying but is quite annoying for someone expecting the PVG norm.

I bought this for my daughter who has been playing piano for almost 5 years now. The versions of the songs are pretty spot on, and more challenging than "beginner" song books.

This is a great book for piano-playing MJ fans. It has a range of difficulties so even an advanced player can have something challenging to play. And if you are an MJ fan, it's just so fun to be able to play these favorites! I wish someone would record these songs in an album and sell that!

Some of the arrangements need a little work but overall a really good book. Filled with all the great Michael songs.
