Is it normal for it to be wet inside of the black seal on top where you seal the case ? Inside black closure was wet after tissue test.

Yes, the black seal was wet inside as well after I did the tissue test. As long as the tissue was completely dry, then you're good. My tissue was completely dry the next morning after I left the tissue in the pouch submerged in water all night. Hope this helps.

Has anyone had a problem with the lanyard breaking where it attaches to the case?

I didn't trust their thin line, I changed it out to another heavier clip and neck strap
