Will it work with 2.0 set?

Yes, the expansion set is compatible with all Lego products. However, I would spend the $160 on getting a bunch of the Lego Technic sets. The Technic sets can be used to expand the capabilities of whatever Mindstorms kit you have way more than the Lego EV3 Expansion 45560 set. You will have way more Lego parts to build with from spending the same amount of money on Lego Technic kits than you get from this expansion kit. But, thats just my two copper Lincolns.

There is not manual for this set, you need to combine with LEGO MINDSTORMS Education EV3 Core Set 45544, then, go to lego education official site and download the instruccion manuals to each model that you want to build!
