Little Sun Solar Lamp Torch Hand Held upto 50 Hrs Light

Love the idea of this lamp and the charitable aspect of it. However unfortunately on the second time of using it I found I could not switch it off, or it would come back on in the middle of the night! I left it charging and now it won’t switch on at all. So very disappointed as spent a lot of money on something that I only got to use twice.I also found the switch difficult to find in the dark. It would benefit from having a stand so you could have it on at an angle rather than just straight up, or having to hold it in your hand as invariably when hanging from the cord it wasn’t in the right direction.I sent it back as requested but had to chase them for the actual refund making me feel like they were hoping I’d forgotten so they didn’t have to pay out.Great idea but doesn’t work in practice unfortunately :-(

I loved the thought process, shape, design & robustness of this product. I can’t stop telling people about this amazing charity idea. Having visited Africa we can understand a little of the difficulties, families are subjected to, once the sun goes down. Anyone who buys one here, means one is offered at local affordable prices. Congratulations Olafur Eliasson - you’ve made a difference- a BIG one to so many people.

I ordered a Little Sun after learning about it when watching a TV program on Creativity. I like good design ideas, fun objects around the house and the whole concept behind this little Sun. However, when my Little Sun arrived it exceeded all my expectations. Presented in a very well designed pretty blue box, already charged up, the Sun itself looks even better in real life than on the pictures. I am 66 years old and wear it with pride when I walk my dogs after dark outside. My dogs wear illuminated collars in the dark, so why not shine myself as a courtesy to others out in busy London parks. As we get more daylight I am sure I find other uses to show off my Little Sun.The Little Sun is a super present, not just for kids! Everyone who loves Design will love it.

What a great idea! The (free) light from solar power really bright and lasts for hours. Perfect in areas with no electricity,so glad they are sold affordably in poorer countries. Alsolutely love it, the Little Sun itself and the whole concept.

I first saw the Little Sun at my sister's home. I couldn't wait to get back to my computer to order one. There are two brightness settings. I've not timed how long the light lasts on a full charge but I would assume it could be used as a night light. For anyone who likes a gadget I think they're wonderful.
