They are easily removable, not permanent. However, I would not recommend leaving them on for a long time on the ivory keys, especially if there is direct sunlight or heat on them, as the stickers may get gummy. I haven't has this happen, but my studio piano is away from sun and heat factors. **Q: How many stickers come in this package? I only got one sheet which is not enough for my 88 key piano as stated in description.** A: An 88 key piano has 52 white keys and this package comes with 51 so the highest C note which should be the last key to the right will be blank. Not all of the stickers have the note on the sheet music part but this was intentional. The black keys are labeled but the stickers still only go on the white keys. **Q: I have had the stickers on for 2 years and I need to remove them now and I am not having any luck. Any suggestions ?** A: Create a white vinegar and water 50/50 mix. Dampen a soft cloth with the solution. Wet a set number of piano keys (ex. 4 or 5 keys) and let set for about 1-2 minutes, then dampen the cloth again and wipe to remove the sticker. Use a razor blade to get the corner of the sticker up, then remove with your fingers by pulling slowly. Pulling fast will increase tension on the sticker and tear it.
