Yoga for Inflexible People

Great for Inflexible People But Not For *Very* Inflexible People
This book is a good guide to the poses and shows most of them with 3 variations so one can build up to doing them correctly. That's why i am giving it 4 stars.Where its fails is that there's a whole world of inflexible that isn't covered here. Another version of this book that assumes significantly more inflexibility would be good, i.e. so inflexible that you can't comfortably sit crossed legged in a rest pose, do child's pose. Props like bolsters and blocks seem to be key, but they don't feature heavily in the this book.In sum, the target audience for this book should be made more clear. If you're a bit inflexible (like me) this book is quite good. If you are INFLEXIBLE (like my partner), then this book is probably not be the bridge to progressing into these posses that you are hoping for.

A Great Book for the Inflexible
For someone who can not touch their toes, I am thoroughly enjoying this book. We have been using it as a family to stretch each day. The pictures and descriptions make it very easy to follow. I would recommend for beginners and for those who have limited flexibility.

I must be v. Inflexible!!
High hopes for this book. Its a very well laid out book but I'm still finding most of the positions difficult. They do give you 2/3 ways of attempting each position though.I just must be a robot!

Amazing book. Exactly what I need to start as a beginner and stay with me as I get more flexible. So glad I bought this.
