VAHDAM Original Masala Chai Black Tea, Loose Leaf, 340g

The best Chai Tea I have ever tasted, the flavors in the spices were perfectly balanced and totally delicious, definitely my favorite brand moving forward. I also loved the back story of the origins of the company, the commitment to freshness and supporting the local communities. If more people learned the benefits of Chai Tea this world would be a healthier place.

The tea itself is really good. Good flavour of masala. Not a big fan of cinnamon flavour but since the ingredient list mentions it, was mentally prepared.The main grouse is that the packaging shown here and the one I received is different. I just hope its coz they have changed the pack and not updated it on Amazon and not because its fake. Price is quite steep probably coz they want to market it as a premium product but personally feel that it is overpriced especially for a non organic product.

This tea has really good ingredients and a great combination of flavours, however, the taste is unbalanced with an overbearing flavour of cloves. The level of caffeine is lower than other chai teas I've tried.

This is one of the Masala Chai (if not the best) I ever had. Albeit I mix my own (I add a bit more cinnamon and cardemon), it is amazing. The flavor is superb, the color is beautiful deep brown and sipping through it perfectly spices up one's day. Most excellent product!

Le goût est une affaire subjective. Concernant ce thé, certains vont l'aimer et d'autres moins. Moi, je l'aime. Ce qui est certain et objectif est que ce thé a du goût. A chacun de le doser selon ses préférences. Je le mets dans une grosse boule à thé (mon mug mesure près de 50 cl) et lorsqu' après plusieurs utilisations, le thé dans la boule a moins de goût j'ajoute dans mon mug un sachet de thé d'un différent parfum, ce qui fait souvent un mélange intéressant. Pour toutes ces raisons, j'ai mis 5 étoiles.

My family and I have been enjoying Vadham teas for a little more than a year now. We started by trying out their lovely sample packs first because they have such a large and interesting selection. I don't think that we found a single tea that was a "dud", they were all good, though we all had our favorites.For our daily "cuppa" that we enjoy with both cream and sugar we chose the Original Masala Chai Tea. It is a subtly spiced tea with a balanced palate that holds up against the cream which will blunt the spice flavor of a lesser masala tea. Our American palates were a bit overcome by the Double Masala Chai, though I think that I personally could develop a taste for it in rather short order I was outvoted by the rest of my family.I love this tea, it holds it's flavor even when it becomes cold. We tend to pour large cups of tea so it will get cold by the time we come to the end of the cup.One bit of advice to enhance the experience; I either stir or swirl my tea as I get to the bottom of the cup because the spice powder will gather in the bottom making for a grainy last mouthful. Such is the price of tea that has spices added to it! This is how you know that the tea is flavored with actual spices and not some sort of flavoring.Also, be sure to re-close your bag of tea every time because the flavors will fade if the tea is allowed to sit open to the air. If you do not consume some 8-10 big hanking cups a day like my family, then buy smaller quantities for best taste as the fresh spices and fresh tea will lose some flavor if left to sit for more than a couple of months. Of course, if you are used to the tea that is usually sold in the U.S., then you may not notice so much. I know that I did not realize the difference between fresh tea and not so fresh before drinking the Vadham teas! Thanks to the Vadham company, I have become a bit of a "tea snob" because they are so amazingly fresh and the taste does tell.On the whole, I highly recommend all Vadham teas and I especially love the Original Masala Chai.

Best Masala chai tea I ever had, and the only one I purchase. It's a bit expensive but well worth the price. I buy the biggest size and it lasts me a long time. Their label also indicates that this company is an ethical B corp, and that it has been around for a very long time, which I take into account as much if not even more than quality. Cheers
