I had a disk surgery and unfortunately once you have a disk issue, it stays with you. Been on pain killers for years. This device is simply amazing. I have been using it a month now and did not need pain killers at all. I use it 30 min a day and the pain either disappears or is very low. Absolutely recommend it to anyone with lower back pain or other pain. I can't believe why doctors don't reccomend these units.

Using it since last 15 days, the build and performance quality is excellent. It acts as a good pain reliever for moderate pain, more power levels are desirable for alleviating higher pain levels. If you compare with the physiotherapist’s machine, this will fall short but by itself it is a good home pain relieving device.

look, for the price, this does a great job. it is an older style device with no fancy screen in color, but i have had this same device for 10 years and it still works great. if i have one negative to this product it is the limited availability of pads. this pad is NOT universal to the other manufacturers pads. this had a much smaller snap tab which also makes the cord specific to this device and not interchangeable for other devices. the device also uses AA batteries and it not rechargeable with a type c cable so you could say this is a negative as well. i still have one of two of my older omron devices and lost one to leaking batteries after 10 years use so i just bought a replacement which is the same as the one from 10 years ago. i have also found it to be the easiest to use. all the manufacturers use a silicone type sticky backing for the pads. the pads are a good size but dont have other options for shape and size like other manufacturers. i have noticed that the pads loosen and can drop off when swetting so apply to clean dry skin. im not sure if the other styles hold any better under the same conditions. one warning.... do not lose or throw away the plastic figure 8 piece which is the holder for the pads between use. you cant just stick them face to face between use. all said, i would still recommend this device and gives comfort when muscles are sore and nerves need mild stimulation.

Purchased in 2017, left it sit for about 2 years and in fall of 2022 found that it still works perfectly, the pads adhere just like always. If you are looking for a quality TENS unit, stop looking this one is PERFECT in my opinion. I purchased this in 2017 and used it for about 2 years on and off for a lower back injury. It has always been very effective in reducing my pain. Fortunately, over the years I have been able to minimize my back pain and haven't had to use it at all in probably close to 2 years. However, I recently re-injured my back and was at a pain level of 7. I found the tens unit, and found that the batteries were still functioning. I pulled the pads off of the plastic storage pad and they adheared to my skin, just like they always had. The TENS unit worked perfectly and brought my pain level down to a 4 after one 30 minute session. I am sure it will continue to help mitigate this pain and get me back on the road to recovery.

I tore two extensor muscles of my left thumb, preventing me from extending my thumb, for example doing a thumbs up gesture. It's painful. I am currently undergoing laser therapy. I decided to get this device so that I can do my home therapy also while I am away from my doctor's clinic. I start treatment with an ice bag for about 15 minutes on my left hand, then I begin my electro therapy session for 30 minutes (15 mins per set). Since I started doing this regimen, my left hand feels SO much better. I can easily do a left thumbs up, and extending my thumb away from my hand. This thing works. But you need to supplement it with additional treatments. The device comes with two pads, two batteries, a carrying pouch with drawstring, a full blown manual, a reference manual, a two wire split cable to attach the pads, and a belt clip. The pads are about the size of half a playing card each. the device is about the size of a small flip phone. You connect the leads to each pad, attach the main lead to the device, press power, set type of therapy", then set intensity. Just remember: NEVER TO USE THIS DEVICE ANYWHERE ON YOUR FRONT TORSO. You can use it on your back but never on your face, front torso, open wounds, irritated skin, or skin that has lotion or cream on it. Never remove the pads from your skin while the device is operating. If you have a pacemaker, avoid this device. I set mine to intensity 4 for my hand and 10 for my back. the stock AAA batteries seems to last. I do 30 min sessions since I got this four days ago, and the battery is still working. Great device. Buy it.

It works very well. My only gripe is that the LCD screen doesn't have a backlight. It would make it so much easier to read.
