Unfortunately , after ordering this product I discovered that the daily intake of Collagen should be 10g a day and this product has only 1600 mg for the 3 recommended capsules per day ! Thats why many reviews of this product are saying they felt no difference after taking this product for 3 months , because it doesn't have enough Collagen ! Try other product with higher collagen doses

Female. 32. No children. I started taking hydrolyzed collagen in February 2025. My friend bought me a bag from Trader Joe’s and when that was finished I found a container of the Sports Research Hydrolyzed collagen at Homegoods and gave it a shot. I really didn’t notice anything but I figured it takes time. I decided to try the capsules because it thought it would be convenient and easy. Well I’m very forgetful and you take them three times a time so most days I can take all three if I’m lucky but a lot of times I end up only taking two a day. With that being said I have recently started noticing my nails growing very long and not breaking or becoming brittle on the edges. I have never had strong nails and have even let them stay long for several weeks to see if they will naturally break, tear or catch on anything. So far minimal need for cleaning up the edges. My goals for taking the collagen were to have stronger, healthier hair and skin. I would say it’s a positive sign to see it working on the nails first.

Easy to take , only been taking two weeks but love that you only have to take 3 a day.

I was really surprised to have issues with these capsules because I have absolutely never had an issue swallowing meds before. I take 3 citrucel caplets, a big multivitamin, and a big iron tablet all together in one fell swoop every day without issue. The citrucel in particular are larger and chalky but still, no issues.However, these 3 capsules get stuck in my throat every single day. There isn't enough water in the world to get them down. I have to wait and take them only when I'm in the middle of a meal so that I can be sure the food pushes them down. Even then, it's like they get stuck at some point in my lower esophagus and it's painful as the food moves them down forcefully. I've tried taking them separately to see if perhaps they just get stuck to each other, but that didn't make a difference. I'll be moving on to try a different brand of collagen capsules once I finish with my current container of these.On a positive note, I can say that after 2 containers of these collagen capsules, the collagen itself does appear to be a good quality and I do see improvements in nail strength, plus less damage to my hair.

I’ve used this for about a month. Just bought my second bottle. My knee was just awful and full of stiffness and pain. Little by little everyday it’s getting better. I’m walking better and extending better. Also my skin is super soft which is a nice side effect. Up to two miles walking from not being able to make it from the parking lot into the store without a substantial amount of pain.
