what does it actually taste of?

It's unflavoured, but is very sweet to taste

Hi there. Can this popping candy be baked into cakes - will they survive in the batter and the baking process?

Hi I tried these in a crumble topping mic and they didn't last to remain popping candy, they melted and formed a nice tasty crunch to the crumble instead. They may work in cake batter but like all sugar it dissolves under heat and re crystalises, hope this helps answer your question
