Hanizi Bird Feeder Outdoor Hanging for Wild Bird Seed, Brown

I've had dozen of feeders over the years, including metal feeders, but the Hanizi Bird Feeder is one of the best on the market for the price. Birds like it--they have no problem fitting themselves around the feeder on the perches provided. It comes assembled so all you do is wash, dry, fill and hang it up. This is my third Hanizi, but no fault of the feeders that I bought more. A rascally squirrel chewed a hole in my first feeder, so that the seeds just fell out onto the ground. My second feeder hit the ground during a windstorm due to me neglecting to bring it to safety. Although, it was sturdy enough to take the fall, suffering only a chip on on the lid. I purchased my third feeder when I saw it on sale, because it is the best feeder of this type and felt I needed another one. I bought a hanging baffle for my third feeder (something I should have done for the first and second) and it's fairing well. It's easy for me to refill (just lift the lid, fill, then snap it back in place) and also easy to clean. The size is perfect for many types of song birds, from small finches up to larger grosbeaks--the grosbeaks tend to monopolize it during nesting season which is why I bought a third feeder. Just remember, it's not squirrel proof, so you'll want to protect it with a baffle.

I couldn’t be happier with this bird feeder! It’s well-built, easy to fill, and has quickly become one of my favorite additions to the yard. Within the first day, birds were already stopping by, and now it’s busy from sunrise to sunset. I love sitting with my morning coffee and watching the different birds gather it has brought so much life and beauty to my outdoor space. The feeder holds a good amount of seed, keeps it dry, and is easy to clean. If you’re looking for a quality feeder that attracts plenty of feathered visitors, this one is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend! Durability built, no assembly, fits larger seeds.

Looks as advertised, keeping it. I was a tad disappointed with the quality. Its very thin and lightweight, maybe because I purchased a different on for close to the same price and it was substantial. Works fine for the birds though, easy to open and fill

Well made product, attracts a lot of birds. Looks great out there in the garden. Size is just right for the little birds.

The lid stays on this feeder much better than similar feeders with a differently shaped lid, even when squirrels hang on it. And squirrels seem less prone to hang on it than other similar feeders. It has also withstood our resident bear emptying it out a number of times. If he pulls the top off, the hinges snap back together easily. If he pulls the bottom piece off, I just line up the pegs at the bottom of the feeder with the holes in the bottom piece, set it on the floor and press firmly, and it snaps back together. A sturdy wire through the lid, feeder, and bottom piece ensures that the pieces remain connected.

Poorly designed. Rain drips down the wire, through the hole in the roof, attaching to the seeds inside. They stick together. They start to mold. The mold starts to spread. Everything solidifies. Birds don’t come to the feeder. It doesn’t drain out of the bottom of a tray well enough either. Probably could be fixed with the right rubber collar in the hole on the roof, but there are better options that work right out of the box. I thought these would be really good after reading the reviews, but four rain storms in three weeks have proven that this is going to continue happening. It’s just a bad design.

I wanted a feeder specifically for small birds without spending too much. This has exceeded my expectations so much that I ordered another one. Birds such as chickadees, goldfinches, sparrows, etc sized up to and including cardinals & orioles have no problem eating from it. The Blue Jays are too large but the starlings and grackles have found a way to sit sidewise but it is awkward for them so they don’t spend more than a few seconds getting seeds. I have even seen the pileated woodpeckers hang from the edge to grab peanuts. They are very easy to refill and after having them for 4 months in the summer I haven’t noticed any waste build up or wet seeds at the bottom of the feeder.

Love that the lid flips open. It had a funny smell so I did have to wash it, as the birds would not use it right away.up date on after washing it, birds still wont go near it. Not sure why, but it defeats its purpose

It is exactly as advertised and is a lovely addition to my garden. Perfect in every regard.

Muito bom e prático para utilizar, pois é fácil para abrir e colocar as sementes que os pássaros gostam como, por exemplo, o milho alpiste e painço. Outra qualidade do produto é não entrar água quando chove.
