My first dash cam so I’m not sure what to expect from a dash/rear view camera, but it does exactly what I need it to do and it was incredibly easy to install, less than 20 minutes. The camera menu is easily managed and the settings are simplified with just a couple clicks of a button. Full installation and setup took me about half an hour to get everything the way I wanted. I did have to purchase an sd card before I could use it, it would be nice if it came with one so it is ready to go when it arrives, like batteries with new toys, always sold separate. 🙄Other than that it seems to be work great and looks sleek and fits well with my vehicle.

I use the removable suction mount for the front camera as opposed to the permanent sticky pad. It makes it convenient and easy to move the camera or to remove it completely if needed. The camera lenses are of good quality. The images are crisp and the colors are vivid and it works great day or night.The unit records each of the three cameras separately so when you review your files each camera has its own video file (mp4)The software (you have to down load it) does add a great deal to the overall experience. While watching the video you will be able to to see a map of the journey, GPS information as well as speed, longitude and latitude, and also hear audio. This is important documentation in an emergency or a car accident.In a pinch you can always watch the video files in QuickTime Player however you will see the video only. You will-not see all of the other information.This camera also takes awesome still photos as well. It is very easy to switch from video mode to photo mode.Another great security feature is the G sensor. It acts as a 24 hour parking monitor. If you’re car gets hit while it is parked the camera will record the video and lock the file.All things considered this camera gives a big bang for the buck. Lots of great features for a great price.Important Tip: if you own a vehicle where the rear window can go up and down and the tailgate opens there is extra consideration with mounting the rear camera. I own a Toyota forerunner I chose to mount the rear camera with Velcro instead of the permanent sticky pad which was included. The reason is that as I put the window down I can reach in and take the camera off the window easily where as the sticky pad does not offer that flexibility. Also when I mounted the Velcro on the glass I was careful not to put it on the wires of the defroster. Also the wire has to be slack enough so the hatch can open all the way without pulling the wire. I have been trying to find a really good dashcam for my Truck (Ram 3500). I have purchased (And returned) Several. I was very impressed with the attention to detail in the packaging especially the covers over all the lens, the quality of the camera in both the outside and inside views. The cost is appropriate for the quality and abilities in my opinion; might even say, the features are more in line with some $180+ units I have used.PROS:1. Awesome quality cameras (Did not really try the 3rd camera, the connector is not long enough for a large Truck). Suggestion, offer the camera with or with out the 3rd camera, and if you get it, offer a few different lengths of cable.2. Audio is pretty good, you can make out my music when turned down pretty low, as well as low volume conversations.3. The GPS App for the computer is really a huge plus when looking for a specific area with pictures. With a bit more development and features and the ability to read other formats, that would be a good stand-alone product. Also, be nice to have such an app for the phone.CONS: While very few, there a few that need attention.1. getting the camera into the settings menu is a pain. takes a bit of messing with and trial / error2. the user guide is lacking. Has some details, but needs more for novice users. Didn't bother me much because I am always messing with tech. My Wife could not get the unit into settings mode nor take a picture.OVERALL: A really good product for the price. I will order a 2nd one for the wifes Durango.

First off, don't expect a lot out of the "monitor" on the unit. With 3 cameras installed, the images are about that of a postage stamp. But at least you know you have a signal and its recording.Easy install, though running the wire took some time as I wanted all the wires to be hidden. The suction cup for the main unit seems very strong and holds the main unit securely. However, the unit can swivel left to right even when the mount is secure. That can be a plus or a minus. The plus is, you could move the camera to capture something off to the side of your car. The minus would be if you are in an accident it might move the camera.All in all I'm pleased with the unit.

Films at 1080p max if using 3 cameras/channels. 4K only works with 2 camera/channels according to User Guide.Can only real make out license plates when moving the same speed as someone or at low/no speed.Installation instructions were too brief. If you don't know what you're doing, you may find it difficult.Rear camera comes with a red wire. Instructions don't say anything about it. I might just hide it with the black wire or cut it off.*These photos are screenshots of paused video footage.

The coverage of front, rear, and in the cabin recording gives a great overall idea of what's happening, in case something happens and you need the footage for insurance and investigations. I have not yet used any GPS capabilities, but it is a feature-packed camera.What I really liked is the suction cup and sticker mount included. You can install it guilt-free with a suction cup. But I liked it to be incognito and installed the mount so that it lays flat under my rearview mirror, out of sight.The front camera is better than the rear camera at nights, better than most other lower-end models I've tried. But still, it is hard for any camera to see plates at night while moving unless you spend an arm and a leg for it.The in-cabin camera is great too (I did not include footage as I have no idea how to blur faces). The IR lights make it easier to see the footage even in the dark.GPS tracking can be enabled to add your speed and location to the footage. I have not tried seeing the location, but the speed is recorded on the video. It is ideal for adding extra evidence to that one moment you wish you had a witness. I turned this feature off (yes, you can do that for all the crazy speedy Gonzales drivers out there).This is a great buy, and truly on par with some of the much more expensive names out there in BestBuy.

Whether you want liability protection or you're recording your autocross adventures, this 3 way camera will capture all of it in detail. I was surprised at the image capture quality in bright sunlight and snow conditions, but shouldn't have been because it uses a Sony image sensor. Easy install and setup, enough customization options to dial it in just how you like. Just add a quality SD card and you're set. I can't recommend this dash cam enough. I'd suggest a hardwire kit for a real clean professional install but cig lighter plug is supplied and can easily be routed tidy along dash as well. I wish I could upload the rear and interior camera shots but Amazon will only allow 1 vid per review. I was surprised by the excellent quality of the interior and rear view images as well.

Cameras angle cam be adjusted which is great cos we have different car seats and different heights.G sensor/Motion was triggered which is great features.I got this dash cam so i can have it ready for any event especially to have a record of any car accident I might get . This dash cam was excellently packaged and all the parts were easy to find and put together. The manual is good and easy to to follow if you cant figure something out.I would definitely will recommend this to my family/friends as this high tech surveillance for car .I always trying to buy what is working and this camera has not one function there are couple functions what you can used it for your car

I'd like to consider myself a dashcam connoisseur, and what I've experienced so far has far surpassed my expectations. The footage recorded is of top-notch quality. I don't notice any lag with my footage that's recorded. I also am able to carefully distinguish little objects such as license plates without any issues whether during the day or the night. One of the issues I had with my previous dashcams is that the lens wouldn't focus on license plates completely during the night given that light is emitted from the license plate light. However, with this dashcam, it carefully adjusts so I can distinguish digits much easily off of license plates that are bright at night.A feature which I really like is that the dashcam's rear footage. I didn't expect the quality to be that great since it's a 3-channel dashcam. However, I was wrong. I am able to simultaneously obtain great quality footage without any lag to the footage itself. Accompanying the rear footage is the cabin view. With the cabin view, I am able to capture footage that not only covers the interior of my car but also the sides of my car. This is perfect for any issues that may arise such as ticket citation by a police officer that may be useful to contend in court. Knowing that the interior footage is also captured, makes me feel reassured of my safety. I most certainly do not want any intrusion while driving or when my car is parked. As such, I believe the cabin footage can also be useful for parking mode.On matters related to parking mode, I hardwired the dashcam instead of using the accessory socket cord provided. As such, the dashcam is functional even when my car is turned off and the key is off the ignition. When in parking mode, camera records in increments of 10 seconds. The increment recording is done to ensure the car's battery does not drain overnight. In addition, the parking footage makes me feel reassured that my car will less likely be broken into given the extensive coverage provided by the front, interior, and rear camera. The coldest nights we've had so far is below -20°C and my car would still start up with little drainage to my car's battery. Therefore, I would only recommend to hardwire the camera if the battery can handle it.For best performance, I'd highly recommend using a micro sd card meant for dashcams with atleast 128GB in storage space if you plan on using parking mode feature. If parking mode feature is not in mind and you simply want it to record when driving, then the lowest I'd recommend is 64gb micro sd card.I am very glad I have came across this dashcam. I can have a three-way dashcam setup all linked through one central device as opposed to having 2+ dashcams to record the rear, interior, and front.
