Sew First Beginner Sewing Kit For Kids - From

I bought this adorable sewing kit for my 7 year old grand-daughter as she had asked me to teach her how to sew. We had a lot of fun starting with the cute, soft dog. The felt is a nice quality. The 2 needles are a nice size so she can thread the eye. We did split the thread, which is embroidery thread, into 2 pieces (3 thin threads per strand). Tape measure also good and she loves the pins because the heads are colored tops. The sissors could be a little sharper, because we did have a hard time cutting the thread unless we divided it into thinner strands. She can't wait to finish her 1st piece and I heard her say the FUN word many times with a big smile on her face when she accomplished her task. We are looking forward to more sewing with this all inclusive kit. She sews, I guide. Great customer service also with this company!

My son absolutely loves this, he finished the two stuffed animals and is so in love with them, and they were so easy to do! Gives kids something to be proud of, and the instructions are simple, does not require much input from an adult, so my son can honestly say he did it all by himself. Very pleased with this. Big thanks from our family, particularly for making this gender neutral!

Bought this for my 7-year old granddaughter and she loved it! With a little guidance from me, she was sewing stuffed animals in no time! The case is handy and the little drawers inside allow her to store her materials in an organized fashion. I would definitely recommend this item.

It's a nice kit.. my 6 year old wanted to learn to sew and I think this makes a very nice first kit.. he was very happy to make his first teddy easy instructions.. and a nice big needle hole.. it's a fun item for kids who like it

We love this kit! It comes with everything you need to learn to hand-sew at an early age. We bought this for my five-year old and she was able to handle the items fairly well. The needle is slightly over-sized for her little hand, but it was still sharp, so this isn't for smaller kids (it's probably too advanced for a five-year old, too, but she managed with a lot of help).

This kit is super cute at first glance. However, despite reading by some other reviews that mentioned mild in the case, I took my chances and ordered the kit. I just received it, and to be safe, I went ahead and opened up the carrying case to make sure everything was there. To my dismay, there we’re mold spots everywhere inside the case. You can tell there was some kind of moisture that got inside and caused the mold to grow in random spots. I’m so glad I checked it out before giving this to my five year old daughter for Christmas. If it wasn’t for the disgusting mold, this would have been the perfect gift for my daughter. Unfortunately, I have to send it back.

I gave this to my 5 year old granddaughter for Christmas. She loves to help me sew and design projects so I thought she would love this. I was right. One day after Christmas she’s already made one of the projects with a little help from me.

This is a great kit. I bought another brand first that was junk, then ordered this one. My 7 year old granddaughter is thrilled with it. I am impressed with the quality & amount of supplies it contains. This is a great purchase.
