Great toy!!! I am a speech-language pathologist, and I used this set as part of an ocean theme I am doing with my preschool students. Just wanted to give my input for any other SLPs or educators considering this item. The animals are vibrant and made of durable plastic. None of the items appear to pose a choking hazard-they are all approximately 2-3 inches in length. Several ocean rocks (one very large) and coral pieces are included. There are two of most of the animals, which works well if you are using this in classroom groups. I had my students request the animals they wanted and float them in a container of water (yes, they all float!). I introduced the opposites "wet" and "dry," and there were many opportunities to work on prepositions as well (e.g. the starfish is under the rock, the shark is next to the coral, etc). There are so many ways to use the animals...I will certainly be using them for years to come.

My children absolutely love these toys!!! They are our bath time party toys! They are sturdy and quite large to my surprise. These toys also float on water which my children find so entertaining in their role playing. They seem as if the they are swimming as sea animals should. :) Thank you for an amazing bucket of fun! Priceless! **Beware of leaving these toys on the floor. They will kill your feet if you step on them as they are very well made with no give. Clean up always with these.

We bought this for the bath for our 2 year old son, and to reward him piece by piece for potty training. It worked pretty well. The Creatures come i twos, which was a great way to introduce him to the idea of having a brother! Some of the coloring comes off though, so i wouldn't recommend it for kids who might still put it in their mouth: it is made in China and so the paint probably has poisonous substances in it or something like that. Too bad they dont make stuff like that in the States. i guess all we are good for is making trash containers and trash.

I'm just going to parrot other good reviews for this product. It's very well made, there are no holes so these make nice bath toys, and what ever you do, DON'T STEP ON THEM. My son loves them, he's two. This is some thing in the bucket that's supposed to be part of a habitat but I can't figure it out. Also I wish there was a narwhal, because my son loves narwhals. But we love this, I would buy it again.

These are a nice play set for any child that loves sea creatures. Points lost for inaccurate color of the figurines (yellow sharks? Really?) and because they are made with really stiff, hard plastic. My son was using these as bath toys and the lobster "bit" him in a not so nice area. Because they are made from such hard plastic, they are not bendable at all and any edges are rather sharp. My son is 9 so I'm not too worried (however after the "biting" incident, he no longer plays with them in the tub, I noticed). I wouldn't recommend these for smaller kids because they have sharp edges and made from a really hard plastic that could scratch.

I bought these for my granddaughter who lives far away from the ocean. She loves to go to the beach when she comes to visit so i thought this would be the ideal gift for her to have these to play with at her home. She is 3 and these are ideal size for her to play with and use her imagination they are bright colors. there are duplicates but she loves them all the same

We recently watched Finding Nemo and this was the perfect compliment to teaching my daughter about the ocean. We use them in the bath tub and they float, which kinda makes them look like they are swimming. The pieces are quality and definitely worth the price.
