Q: Will it fit an 18x24 poster perfectly without covering the image? -or should i get a larger frame?

I framed an 18x24 without problem.

Q: How does the pre-installed hanging clip work? Should I use a nail or a hook? I'm used to the wire across the frame.

My poster in the frame is hanging by a single, sturdy nail. Depending on how flush you want to be against the wall, I suppose a hook would work, as well.

Q: Dimensions of frame? Really? What are the dimensions pls?

Outside is 18 3/8 x 24 3/8. I would call it 18 x24. Nice frame, I think.
