** Ordered these socks and there is no indication anywhere of the what is the material/fabric on the packaging or the tags. All it says is "Made In China". ** Also don't see where it specifies the fabric/material anywhere on the Amazon description here.

What’s the exact wool content? I’ve seen socks with 18% merino advertised as wool socks. Since these don’t specify I’d assume the low merino content.

I don't know the percent of wool content, but I can tell you these socks are fabulous and have that feel of merino wool. The socks are nice and warm yet breathable, soft yet have incredible elastic. There is no way this sock is going to slip down your calf. I ordered a set of three and absolutely love them.

Are these socks itchy? I have trouble with wool itching.

Merino wool doesn’t scratch. Extremely soft.
