Great reproduction of the real thing!
This is almost perfect as far as imitating silk Dupioni. You can see the slubs but you can't hardly feel them, they are very smooth. The shine is dull not like polyester usually looks like, where it it too much shine. The drape is stiff but then it's about the same as the real thing in that way also. The thickness may be a bit more thick that the real thing however. I am very happy with it.

Exactly What I Needed!
I have purchased this silk twice now to cut into bias binding for 18th century stays. It has a lovely stretch (on the bias), the color is accurate to the picture, slightly stiff (which I wanted) and is very easy to sew either by hand or machine. It also irons beautifully and I'm easily able to fold it into binding by hand instead of using a bias binding making tool. One yard of this fabric makes me enough 1" binding for about 5-6 pairs of stays. This is a must-have for the sewing I do and I plan on keeping it in my sewing repertoire indefinitely!

I think it's beautiful and it LOOKS like real silk to me, GREAT FOR DRAPES, not gray at night
FAUX SILK DUPIONI FABRIC POLY DUPION IVORY (BY THE YARD)I'm going to use it for silk/satin ribbon embroidery decorative pillows. I JUST ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE COLOR. IT'S REALLY IVORY. AND, I CAN WASH IT. BECAUSE I WILL HAVE THE RIBBON ON IT I'LL HAVE TO WASH IT BY HAND, but, it you don't put anything washable on your project I'm sure you can wash it on gentle lukewarm or cold wash.I also bet it will be fine in the dryer. All you have to do is to cut a small piece of the fabric, measure it carefully, maching wash and dry AND MEASURE AGAIN. I'd bet a little money it's going to be fine.THE MOST IMPORTANT TO ME: MANY WHITES AND OFF WHITES LOOK GRAY AT NIGHT, THIS ONE DOES NOT

Nice Faux Silk; Color Not Exact Match
Beautiful, heavy faux dupioni silk. This fabric will be used to refurbish lampshades & will be perfect. It has a crisp, slightly rough hand. The color of my length is a very nice pale ecru rather than the cream in the photo. I expected this. It should be ideal for my project.

Love it!
This is super nice. It is a little rougher than real dupioni, but it looks great. You’ll need to put in a lining, it’s slightly see through, but that’s expected for a white fabric. All in all very happy with this fabric!
