Clipa, Traveler Black, The Instant Handbag Hanger, Purse Hook

These clipas are great as usual! I have had one that I purchased in a different color last year and it still works perfectly. I love it. The first one I purchased, I decided to keep at home to hang my backpack on a metal shelf (I am a college student) and it works perfectly. I am thoroughly impressed with how much weight the clipa can hold. My backpack is pretty heavy as it holds a full water bottle, laptop, textbook (a really thick one) a Erin Condren planner, a thick pencil bag, and more assortment of products that make it heavy. I do not keep all of that in my backpack for a long time, but the fact that it is able to hold all of that is incredible, so much so that I decided to purchase two more in Black Matte, one for me to carry around with my longchamp bag, and one for my partner to use to hold his backpack should he need it. I am always impressed with the quality, weight, shape, and size of this excellent product. Highly Highly Highly Recommend for anyone, man, woman, or child of all ages that needs a sort of clip to keep your bag, purse, or backpack off the nasty floor anywhere!

I have to use a cane when I walk on uneven surfaces. When I prop my cane against a wall or counter, it always falls. This is a very common problem. I use the Clipa Traveler to secure my cane. It works fine on restaurant tables. I also use it to secure my small, but heavy, backpack in rest rooms, etc. I hook the Clipa onto my cane loop or backpack strap when I'm not using it. The first day I used the Clipa, I was returning a shopping cart, grabbed my cane, and the Clipa flipped up and smacked me in the face. My own stupidity, but who doesn't do stupid things? Just keep in mind that the Clipa is heavier than it looks. It has proven useful for many purposes, and I would purchase another.

This attractive clip does not hold heavy purses very well and does not fit on deep table top edges easily.

It's a little heavy and clunky, but works

Clipa is THE best handbag hanger ever! Because of its simple and sensible design, it offers the best in both form and function (and it is one of those inventions that you just kick yourself for not coming up with the idea first). Added bonus: Made in the USA. Yay!I purchased this particular Clipa (the "Traveler") for my brother as it is much more rugged (and less "girly") than the original Clipa. His motorcycle and bicycle are his preferred modes of transportation to navigate the crazy traffic in Los Angeles, so he always has a helmet and backpack with him. Finding a safe and clean place for my purse at a bar/restaurant is merely an annoyance for me, but having a backpack and helmet is much more cumbersome and a huge hassle for my brother. Don't have these problems anymore, thanks to Clipa!

I just got this product and I already love it. Like lots of people these days, I carry my backpack everywhere I go. Sometimes I carry two: my backpack and my camera bag (also backpack). I hate putting my bags on the ground when I go out. I also feel awkward taking up a seat for my bags when someone else may benefit from it. Sometimes when I'm lazy to bring my camera bag, I just take my camera. At times, I have to either keep the camera (DSLR with a 300mm lens normally) on my lap or on the floor next to me.I've been so fed up, I started contemplating getting a purse hanger... more manly design anyway. Then I saw THIS! Good timing.So, this thing is pretty big. The photo makes it look like maybe 1.5"-2" in diameter. This thing is almost 3" in diameter. When it first arrived, I wasn't sure about the size, but then I saw a picture of someone with it clipped to her backpack's grab handle. I thought that was a good place to store it as well, and it does fit well there. I was also afraid that it would fly off, since I ride a motorcycle to and from... where ever. No, it has a pretty strong spring clip inside and it does take more effort to open than it may appear.I would give it 3-stars only because there is no padding inside, but it is already a great product and it's not the fault of the part or designer if I clipped it somewhere that will ruin whatever it is clipped to. For instance, this product opens up and clips to nearly everything. I hung my backpack on the baby crib last night. The crib is made from solid wood, and my bag, with the camera weighs probably 15lb. I think the Clipa would eventually wear into the wood after some time so I have to be careful. So, if there was a rubber inner lining, that would make this product MORE awesome.The reason why I don't give this product 5-stars is because it does have room for improvement. One of those is the ability to clip a bag on the wall-edge of a dresser or whatever. It really only works of there is at the minimum, a small overhang. If it is a straight wall, the clipping end sits on top at a very awkward angle, possibly damaging the table with it's point, while slipping because the bottom point is pushing away from the wall. A purse hanger doesn't seem to have this issue, so if this product can do that, I'll gladly upgrade.

Ive owned this bag hanger for a week, I purchased it for my EDC messenger bag. The design is great. It doesnt look like it was made for a purse, if someone looked at it they wouldnt realize its original intent (so long as you dont buy a pink one I guess). The spring retention seems nice and tight. Time will tell how it holds out over the long term, but for now it feels good. The bottom of each end of the clippa has a nice rubberized pad to protect surfaces, bur be careful, the pad is small and the design of the product leaves a small area just out sided the pad that, while not pointy, is still metal and could damage surfaces. Looking at the picture you'll be able to see what I mean. So long ad you're intentional about how you set it, you'll never scratch anything. This really won't be a problem for you honestly. The one problem with this particular design is that any surface which has a shallow overhang, like a fancy dinner table, or some with no overhanging ledge at all, will not be able to support your clippa.All in all its an excellent product. You wont regret having it.

Assovのコーデュロイリュックにつけて使っています。デザインもシンプルでオシャレですね。マットな質感がたまりません。他の方のレビューにあるよう、作りはかなりしっかりしていて安定感抜群です。使って2ヶ月立ちますが、塗装の剥がれやゴムの劣化などはありません。かなり分厚いデスクにも使えますし、カフェやラーメン店など、地面に直接置きたくない場合や混んでいて場所を取りづらい場所でも気軽にフックできるので思いの外役立っています。その他、リュックをデスクにひっかけつつ、余った突起部分にコンビニの袋を下げたりなどもできるので、デスクの上がスッキリします。正直購入する前には「そこまで使う頻度あるか？」「なくてもそれほど困らない」と思っていましたが、実際買ってみるとやはり便利でした。買って損はない商品だと思います。

ノートPC、リフィル、資料など詰め込んだリュックで通勤してますが、L字フックだと床に着いて困ってました

意外に大きいので通勤用バッグ持ち手の柄に付けて持ち歩こうと思っていましたが無理でした。かなり頑丈で耐荷重もあるので大きな荷物用と註釈を入れてはいかがでしょうか？

やすい値段で買ったバックハンガーが大破したので、せっかくなら・・・と思って買った一品。まだ使い始めて日が浅いですが、がっちりしているのでそうそう壊れることはなさそう。とりあえず今は大満足です。

これは頑丈で、かなり重宝します。カバンの持ち手部分にはさんで、いつも持ち歩いています。
