How does it compare to artic Ruby oil?

Arctic Ruby Oil uses calanus oil from the marine crustacean calanus finmarchicus 1000mg pee serving with 2mg of astaxanthan. It is absorbed more efficiently from wax esters. Wax monoesters burn slower than the triglycerides and phospholipids that bind the essential fatty acids in fish oil and krill oil. Artic ruby oil and Ruby of the sea are both the same and made by the same company and the only ones I know of that produce it. A bit more expensive than krill or fish oil tho.

Is this processed using hexane?

No.  Superba (Aker Biomarine) krill oil is extracted with ethanol. See GRAS #371 ("Thus the oil is produced by subjecting the krill meal to ethanol extraction. The solvent used is food-grade quality and is removed from the product in accordance with current good manufacturing practice. Following extraction, the defatted krill meal and the ethanol oil solution are separated,The ethanol-oil solution is then concentrated by evaporation and stored.") Neptune's krill oil is extracted with acetone.  Remember that krill oil is never molecularlly distilled and the oil is extracted and not purified.  Enzymotec krill oil is extracted with hexane per GRAS 226 (generally recognized as safe).
