Great Bike? Enjoy the Wonder of Biking-It's like flying with this bike.
Great Bike? Enjoy the Wonder of Biking-Riding this bike is like flying : ). Simple, light, wonderful. It is a big price tag for our tall, six year old-over $300; but well worth it. It is a great bike to get the children off the couch and out exercising. We don't allow video games in our house, so I justified the expensive price. From one parent to another-spend the money on this bike for your child if you have it. LIGHT, LIGHT, LIGHT as a child's bike should be. One of my children showed he could pick up the whole bike with one finger. When buying a bike, be careful-just because a bike is made of aluminum, it does not mean it is light. There are different kinds of aluminum. This is the light kind of aluminum. Works well. Simple. The belt instead of a pedal chain does its work with no problems. My six year old's son's comment is that it is fast. I would guess it will fit an averaged sized 6-9 or 10 year old. However, my (on the shorter side for his age) 13 year old son likes to use this bike as a trick bike at the skate park (because it is light and durable). You get what you pay for and pay for what you get. Paying the high price gets you a quality bike in this case. : )Good luck.Wish you you well.Property Manager, : )

Good product
Our son liked the bike very much.It is light weight, so it is extremely easy to handle. The breaks needed a little bit of adjustment after the installation, but it is normal.Packaging was good and the bike was very easy to install. The bike was discounted, so the quality price was very good.

Light and easy to ride
My 7 y/o son absolutely loves this bike. It is smooth to ride and very lightweight. The bike has only one speed (no switching gears) which is actually good for first-time riders. Switchable gears would have made it heavier and harder to learn. The default speed is perfectly balanced (not too slow, but pedals are still easy to push).Warranty support is first-class too. After 6 months of riding, one of pedals cracked (it's the only part made of plastic). We contacted support and received free replacement pedals within 4 days.

Cannot put together
Like another reviewer - I have a bolt on the front wheel that is locked and will not come loose which means I cannot put the bike together. Sent a message to the seller, hoping for a quick response and replacement wheel otherwise this bike is going back. What a shame, it's a nice color bike and VERY lightweight. Again, hoping for quick resolution as this is a birthday gift...

Updated: Great bike
Update: I received a replacement wheel about a month after identifying the problem. Once I could put the bike together properly, my girls took it for a test drive. It rides like a dream. Very lightweight and easy to handle. I’m hoping they put a lot of miles on this Belsize.Original: There’s no help. No phone number. Just send your email off to customer service and wait to see if someone sends you an email response over the weekend. I received a defective product. One bolt will not release from the front wheel so I cannot fit the fork onto the wheel. This is not my first bike assembly. I’m very frustrated. I wish I had gone with a different brand. Will be returning and highly recommend that others go with a different brand for lack of support.

If you want your kids to love the ride, this is the bike.
This bike is exactly as billed. With relatively little effort, one can put this bike together (with the tools included) in about fifteen minutes. The components are the quality one would expect for the cost. A few moments of adjustment to the brakes and the wheels spin free and fast.As a parent of younger children, I’m going to advocate for a choice here. I love to ride. I rode mountain bikes with my family, I played around with racing in college and I can still be found meandering about on my old Cannondale from time to time. I wanted my kids to love the bike as well. For young kids, it has to work, work well and be easy to have fun on. This is the bike you want. The parts last, the belt drive is the single greatest improvement to kid’s cycling since the balance bike (say no to training wheels- really, just say no). No grease, no chain to fall off, just get on and go.The biggest plus- this bike is almost five pounds lighter than its closest similarly priced competitor. It is more than ten pounds lighter than your average 20” cheapo. For reference, the average 6 year old only weighs 45-50 pounds. This is a MASSIVE percentage of their body weight. It makes an enormous difference in how far, how fast and how long a child can ride before they get tired. If you want them on a bike, make it easy and make it fun.Last piece before I get off my soap box: we’ve had this bike (the A11N 20”) for about a week. I included a picture of the A11N Belsize 16”s that still hang in the garage. Those two bikes went through just about anything a kid can put a bike through and still roll as fast as they did when I got them. Get a bike your kids will want to ride. This is the bike you want.

High end bike, easy assembly, no messy chain, very lightweight
We had originally gotten the Belsize 16 inch belt drive bike for my 4 year old. We loved it so much that we decided to get the 20 inch version as well, for my 8 year old! Assembly was so easy my 13 year old was able to do it by himself. I had never heard of belt drive bikes before getting these bikes, and I wish I had known about them sooner! This bike rides so smooth and I love not having to worry about chain maintenance on bikes that my littles ones are using. I also really love the fact that it’s so lightweight, which is perfect for the little ones. The bike also looks really sleek and high end. Really happy with this product.
