I bought this JapanBargain, Japanese Laundry Tub Basin with Washboard Laundry Board for Hand Wash Clothes Made in Japan, Plastic, Blue (1).I totally LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this little Laundry Washboard Tub!This little Washboard Tub is REALLY Made In Japan!It is a much better quality than all the other ones on Amazon that are NOT from Japan. I know, because I foolishly bought quite a few of the cheaper, China made ones and I was NOT happy with any of them!The plastic on this little Washboard Tub is thicker, smoother and just looks better.The washboard part is just the perfect texture. Not too rough and angled just right.This Washboard Tub actually does have the rubber footing on the bottom to keep it from sliding around if you are using it in a big sink. (The rubber foot was missing on every China model I had tried!)Obviously, this little Washboard Tub is not for washing a lot of large or heavy items like denim jeans or big towels. But, if you have a stain or something on a larger item that you need to pre-treat or scrub a bit, before you put it in your washing machine, then this little Washboard Tub is great for doing that!This is a small tub that fits perfect in one side of most double kitchen sinks, or bathroom sinks.It is the perfect size when you need to hand-wash delicate smaller items like Lingerie, Camisoles, Hankies, Scarves, Headbands, Sweatbands, Masks, and some styles of hats like knitted ones and baseball or bucket hats. Occasionally, I'll wash a few of my delicate tank tops too.I have always totally hated hand-washing anything and I put it off forever! Because of that, I have ruined a number of nice delicate items when I do decide to finally wash them but get lazy and put them in my washing machine, even when my machine is set on the Hand-wash or delicate cycle.This little Washboard Tub is so easy to use and kind of makes it fun to do my hand-washing. I just think of how my great grandma probably had to do serious scrubbing of family clothing back-in-the-day, and then I realize how easy I have it now. Plus, this is also kind of a cool way to teach kids about washing clothes.Obviously, I am super happy with my Washboard Tub purchase. So much so that I bought another of these for a spare!

The first time I washed some of my face masks, I thought it distorted the mask fabric too much, so I thought I would switch to hand washing.I got a prepworks collapsible 10-qt wash tub, but hand-scrubbing without any sort of washing-board wasn't resulting in things getting as clean as I would like. So I have added this into the routine, and got to use it for the first time tonight.As others have noted, this isn't huge, but the scrubbing ramp is a great width for scrubbing a mask. After tonight's scrub session, my masks smell nice and clean. The ridges are just rough enough to help break up the fabric and get the soap in deep, but not rough enough I'm worried it's going to damage the masks. I'm still soaking in the small collapsible tub since there's more room in there, but this is better for the physical act of cleaning.So if you need to hand-wash your masks - or just prefer to - you absolutely need one of these. It may be a touch pricy for what it is, but it is the necessary tool, and I expect to be using it for some time.

Great for washing a few pairs of underwear by hand, but that's about it. The scrubber part does the trick, and the nonslip rim on the bottom of the bin keeps it from moving around on the counter. The plastic is sturdy and not brittle, and the pour spout works.It's easy to stash under the sink for me, so small is good.Look at the dimensions before you buy. This basin is VERY small, so if you're looking to wash/scrub anything bigger than a few pairs of underwear, I don't think this is the item for you. Deducting a star because it's so small as to be unusable for much beyond a few dainties.

Washing masks, lingerie, socks, handkerchiefs...it's exactly what I was looking for. It's very sturdy, non-slip and holds just enough water to wet the item needed hand-washing. Fits in my bathroom sink with no problem. Makes my handwashing tasks so much easier! Love!

I love the JapanBargain Japanese laundry tub - don't be tempted by the dupes as there is a difference. It is the perfect size for prepping and/or handwashing undergarments and other delicate items. The angled accordion style agitation surface is just right for removing stained fabrics without causing any damage. This washboard is a must have in everyone's laundry room, so I am going to buy two more and gift this little gem to other stain-obsessed friends like myself!

Very disappointing. Way too small to be of any use. Regret buying it.
