Worth Every Penny!
I was very hesitant to spend this much money on a light. I’ve been using a 30w Hipargero on my tank for the past few months and thought my tank was doing well. AFTER JUST A DAY of using this light with 18000K settings, EVERYTHING in my tank looked more vibrant, healthier, and overall just so much better. I’m confident this light was the final touch I needed to change my tank from a GOOD reef tank to a GREAT one. I didn’t realize how starving my anemone was for light... It like almost doubled it’s usual size. Corals seem to like it too. I love the gradual ramp functions and the moon cycle simulator. People have criticized this light for difficulty with the setup but honestly it’s super easy if you just read the instructions. Took me about 5 minutes The ONLY thing I would warn others about is that the mounting holes weren’t the same width as my hipargero ones. I just used a small sized bolt I found laying Around and drilled a new hole in my metal hipargero mount. Seems to work just fine.

Avoid Red Sea products !
PAR values advertised are way off and over rated. Light wont connect half the time and the other time you have to reset it. The app is terrible and malfunctions constantly. Customer service is complete trash and they don't stand by their products.

very difficult to be connected to the app
This is not my first Red Sea LED90 light. I've had two in use for a few years for my coral tank. The original two were set up by a professional, and even he couldn’t install them on the first try and had to returned & exchange the entire set before they were successfully installed. I bought this one to replace one of the two that went bad. I didn't expect adding this light to my existing tank system to be so difficult. Installing the light was simple, but it took me several hours and dozens of failed attempts to finally connect it to my app. The app provides detailed instructions, so there's no confusion there. I feel the problem lies in the weak and unstable signal of this light, which caused the numerous failed attempts to add it to my grouped system. Concerned that the issue might be with my setup or home Wi-Fi, I restarted my entire network, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and still encountered the same failure at the same step. The most ridiculous part is that after spending several hours and failing countless times using the same steps, it finally connected successfully. I felt like I had won the lottery. For such a simple device to waste so much time before it can be used, I can only say that the quality of this device is very poor. If you don't mind wasting as much time as I did, you can consider buying it; otherwise, I would recommend purchasing a product with more stable quality and simpler operation.

DONT BUY REDSEA
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM REDSEA!!!!! My LED 50 will not connect to WiFi.It going on SIX week now. Their customer service is a joke. How hard can it be to diagnose the problem? They even sent parts for the LED 90,and then told me they’re human and they made mistakes. I’ve got a reef tank and weeks without a light is not good. DONT BUY REDSEA
