For smoke detector! Great battery .

This battery was used in a fire detector. They were so weak that it alarmed after a few seconds. I would give it a 0. I returned item for a refund. I had to pay $3.50 to have the label printed. The refund was only $9.19. I had to change my review. The smoke detector was put up by Brinks which I canceled. I now believe that once the original battery ran out it could not be replaced. Therefore I can not honestly review this item.

I am reviewing Amazon, not the batteries, as I can’t review lithium batteries until I see how long they last in a motion sensor. Ordering and delivery was excellent, but packaging was overdone. The battery is less than 1-1/2” and the pair of them weigh a few ounces. You used an oversized cardboard box plus packaging material when a small padded bag was all that was needed. See photo.

I ordered these Panasonic batteries because that’s what my SimpliSafe smoke detector called for. I have tried other brands in the past and it’s true, the SimpliSafe doesn’t work with anything but these Panasonic batteries. Definitely recommend!

Panasonic are the best CR123 batteries on the market. Highly recommend.
