L'Oréal Technique HiColor Red HiLights Permanent Hair Color

Purchased this color and added 30 developer in it. My natural hair color is a #2. I was able to use this without bleaching my hair to achieve the color I was wanting. Very happy and impressed.

It works like MAGIC, I fell in love with this color, this is the second time I’ve purchased it. My hair is a beautiful Red color, only additional item I used was 20 developer & a little bit of the Violet HiColor. 10/10 would recommend if you’re wanting red based hair.

looove this hair dye. i always go dark brown and regret it! this pulls the dark brown out so easily without having to bleach and redye. its definitely one of my favorite colors. the red is very vibrant and stays a long time. id recommend always!

I tried to dye my hair the way it is right now about two month ago. At that time I ordered HiColor Reds "Red Hot" but it didn't work the way I wanted - it was super dark red, not that visible, and I wanted bright. (first pic is "before", second is "after"; in "before" you almost can't see the red) So this time I ordered HiColor Highlights "Magenta" and it worked perfectly! It is way brighter in front at the roots, because my hair's been dyed lots of times, and my real color is light brown; and it's darker closer to the ends, but it's making a perfect gradient! I used 1:2 dye to 30 developer. After washing my hair 5 times already, the water is still slightly red, but I expected that. Be careful! IT does stain the skin (and stings a little at the beginning), I was able to wash it off completely only on the second wash. Anyway, I like it very much! (4 stars because even though it says "for dark hair only", you won't have the bright red color unless your hair is light brown)

It is so hard to get my hands on this product nowadays. I have been using L’Oreal high color highlights for the last five years. I absolutely love this product. I go from black hair to red hair at least once a year. I would say this is a must for me 100% recommend this product.

I recently purchased L’Oreal Excellence Hicolor, Red Magenta Highlights for my daughter. She wanted to dye sections of her hair in red, without having to bleach her hair first (she has very dark hair with 3B and 3C curls). This product was very easy to use and created deep red tones (as was desired) on dark hair. We will definitely be buying this product again. NOTE: while the instructions said to use a #40 volume developer we opted for a number 20 instead to avoid loosening the curls too much. Worked great!
