Bottom line up front: If you desire something that tastes like Coke or Pepsi or the generic clones thereof, seek elsewhere; this product is not for you. To abuse an old sci-fi reference "It's cola, Jim, but not as we know it." After mixing it with cold water in the proportions recommended and tasting it, I would say that it actually is cola-like but with strong herbal overtones (one of which I can only describe as kind of pine-y) and a noticeable bit of bitterness alongside the sweetness is perceptible because of the much lower sugar content compared to the major brands. By the end of the first glass and with the impression reinforced by another glass a day later, I had decided that I enjoyed the herbal flavor, enough so that I'll buy another when this bottle runs out. However, I will admit it was something I had to actively contemplate for a bit and I certainly am not surprised that other reviewers have decided it wasn't for them. It is definitely a flavor that is off the beaten path but sometimes, like in this case, that's not a bad thing. Try it if you're feeling adventurous.

The perfect selection of delicious flavors for your morning coffee

I purchased the Chai Amoretti syrup along with their pumpkin pie syrup and deeply regret the purchase. Both flavors are not enjoyable, but this one in particular is extremely bitter and leaves an awful aftertaste. I have tried using this many different ways in my coffees and teas and every time I use it I regret it, swiftly toss out that drink and make another. I bought these products in an effort to make enjoyable drinks at home to save money from purchasing expensive drinks at shops. However, it has proven to be a complete waste of money, space and has been very unenjoyable. For an investment of about $30 in Amoretti products, it is an absolute disappointment. If I were you, I would think twice about purchasing this for yourself, as it seems very enticing and promising, it is a very bad product. I wish I could get a refund and likely think that is how you will feel as well. Save your money and time now. EDIT: Great customer service. They really want to do anything they can to help you enjoy their products.

Good starter syrups. The consistency stayed nice and the flavors were good! I enjoyed it!

I bought these for Thanksgiving guests to give then options when making their Thanksgiving Day coffee. I had no idea they were so tiny, but that's on me for not reading the description. The package recommends using a teaspoon of syrup, but I find it's not quite enough to get past the flavor of the coffee itself. However, the syrups DO have a great flavor. I'm not sure I would purchase these again, since it's almost $14 for just over 5 fluid ounces of product (altogether). To justify the price, think about how much syrup you use and how often. I gave it 5 stars for flavor.

These are really good. A little pricey but a nice treat

Let me start off by first saying that I am a HUGE fan of Amoretti. LOVE their products! The only reason I'm leaving feedback is because this Chai syrup is just as others say...not good. :( Of course I didn't pay much for it at all...so I'm not upset...but if you are expecting a true Chai flavor you aren't going to get it from this one. I'm not so swayed when it comes to feedback regarding flavors because everyone's taste is different. But this is an exception: it smells like perfume...and unfortunately it tastes like perfume. Chai should have fennel seed, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon stick, ginger root, nutmeg, allspice, and peppercorns...maybe this is just a different version than what I'm used to, but you cannot taste spices at all. Try some of their other flavors and you'll be hooked! Just don't bother with this one.

Tastes very chemically & nothing like other Chai syrups & powders I have tried. I would avoid this item. Good thing is it comes with a pump.

Tastes sooooo good! No need to go to Starbucks for a Peppermint Hot Cocoa anymore! I can make them at home and they taste exactly the same :)

Amazing taste but I need to use a larger quantity of the syrup than I would for Torani syrups. Love the taste though!

I use this for lattes at home- it tastes awesome and I don't need to use much either- it'll last a long time
