I have been taking D3, and K2 Mai 7 or4 for a few years , as I have osteoporosis. This has a bit of calcium in this, although not the best type! D3 you usually get from the sun, but as we get older supplements. do not absorb very well, And it’s not healthy to be laying in the sun all day. I live in Cal. And it’s not always so sunny out when I garden. After I had my blood checked , My D3 was low, and I’m getting older. That said it’s important to get it checked So your taking enough , or to know your not taking enough. K2 MK7 takes the calcium from your Arteries to your bones and teeth. It now seems like the calcium might be in your arteries from eating the wrong foods, restaurant , and processed foods, and calcium not going in your Body where it belongs. I like the amount In this for some people, But what I do Not like is, the seller does not show the bottle of ingridiance or anything on this site that shows the Amount of D3, or K2-Mk-7. As now I need to be taking 10,000 iu D3 , I had to buy another package of 5000 iu D3 To take with this , but also I found another Vender on Amazon that sells the right amount for me that also, shows the amount on Amazon in the bottle. Also Has th K2-MK7 or MK 4 that is really better then MK 7., As MK-4 is more pricey, but does absorb in the body better.

Despite living in the Sunshine state my recent blood work indicated I am slightly vitamin D deficient. Being in my 50’s my dr wants me to take vitamin D3 with K2. When vitamin D is taken orally your body may not properly utilize vitamin D without adequate amounts of vitamin K2, which directs calcium to your bones. Adding black pepper extract means optimal absorption. I am also happy to see a little added calcium in this supplement as well. However, if you want 5000 IU of D3, I recommend taking this brand's Heart Health, its the same ingredients only a lot more D3, Bone Density has 625 mcgs of D3. One thing I did not realize is it’s best to take D3 30 minutes before a meal with a glass of water. I might not see results for a few months when my labs are rerun. If I take this or Crystal Peaks Heart Health regularly, I feel confident that these supplements will help boost my vitamin D levels up 1 point to the normal range. The capsule is a regular size and it is easy to swallow. It has no taste. This affordable bottle contains a 2 month supply.
