Like most, I was skeptical about this case considering its price. Using 'nothing ventured nothing gained' as my motto I decided to buy it and see for myself.The old case had a death grip on my phone and it took some finagling to cut it loose. After freeing the phone from its armor, I quickly air sprayed the dust particles away and changed the screen protector while I was at it.The new case was very well packaged and was true to the description on Amazon. It didn’t take me long to mount the parts on to the phone and snap them into place. ‘Fits like a glove’ never had more meaning as the device was securely in place and the smooth curves of the case gave it a very ergonomic feel in my hand.The thing most people want to know about something like this is its performance rating when it comes to accidental drops, I’d wager. I’ve been using the case since early January but it wasn’t until last night that I dropped the phone about 2-3 feet from the ground. I watched it break away from my hands (ironically I kept the Grande latte safely in my hand) in slow motion and fall on to hardwood floor with the camera side making first contact.The case did what it needed to do with only a minor scratch on the case to show for it – protected the phone! The case didn’t even break apart as other cases have in the past. After inspecting the device for damage I texted, took a picture and called one of my friends and everything was in perfect working order. Absolutely nothing happened to the phone, which is why I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars.So don’t worry about ‘getting what you paid for’ because you definitely get way more than you pay for this case – the sanity of knowing it can take a hit is priceless.

I was pretty surprised how well this low-buck case fit my phone. Installation is pretty easy:1. Slip the silicone cover over your phone2. Place phone and silicone cover into lower hard case3. Place top cover on over phone and work around the edges to seat the snapsRemoving it can be tricky at first. Here's how:1. Locate the fingernail divots on the side of the case2. Gently pry the case open from these divots3. Remember, the top cover sits inside the bottom so you want to pry the bottom down and out, not the top up4. Finally reverse the installation instructions to completely remove itEven with a tempered glass screen protector on my Galaxy Note II it fits just right. S-pen is still easy to remove as well. The only issue is that the earphone jack is pretty tight. If this becomes an issue for me in the future I'll simply open up the soft silicone hole with small x-acto knife (like the ones used to work on model plans/cars). 5 minutes of work should make it so any earphone jack will fit without issue.

Really protects the Note 2. Snaps in easily, doesn't seem to stretch out like the Otterbox. Great price. Ships fast.Here's my wish list, hence the four stars...1. Make the hole for the earphone jack big enough so all jacks will actually fit. This seems to be the biggest problem I have with most cases. And not all adapters are created equal, plus, why should I have to buy a darn adapter. MAKE IT FIT!2. Color choices...white gets dirty. Wish I'd thought of that when I ordered, but it was the only purple I liked. So offer more color choices please! And not too-girly girl.Maybe four and a half stars...the second issue seems a little unimportant. The jack issue is huge though.

I was really excited to get this phone cover as I loved the colors and the fact that it had a durable inner cover an soft outer shell. After about 4 months of having it though, the outside soft cover has stretched out a lot. Another thing I noticed is when I took off both covers, the hard plastic cover left indentations on the sides of my phone (silver-colored areas) which don't look very good and kind of undo the whole purpose of getting a cover (the purpose being to prevent dents). At the same time, my phone has not yet broken so that's always a plus. The one other tip I have is that if you have headphones that have an L-shaped jack, then those headphones probably will not fit into the phone with this phone cover on. Luckily my phone came with some nice Samsung headphones so that hasn't been a problem. I would definitely consider buying from this vendor again if only I knew that the soft outer shell would fit tighter and the plastic hard inner cover wouldn't dent into the phone.

I've been using my carbon fiber phone case for several months. It still looks like new...even after several camping trips and falls it has held up perfectly. It doesn't bust apart like most cases when my phone is dropped. It is a little bulky, but that is expected with this type of case. I really like the rubber edges, it helps keep my phone from slipping out of my pockets and makes it easy to find in a large bag. The plugs are easy to get to, I haven't had any trouble plugging anything into the phone with the case on. I never have to take the case off except for general cleaning, but the case is easy to remove with no tools needed. It works great and I highly recommend it if you need a rugged case to protect your Samsung Note 2.

Best case I have ever owned. I just recently upgraded my phone and was so sad to not have this case anymore. It survived an international move with no damage. I am very impressed with this. The design stayed on, the rubber was good quality. My phone was very protected. The slick cover made for easy removal from my pocket. Hoping to buy a case for my current phone that is similar to this amazing case!

I wanted something that would help protect my Galaxy Note II but not be too bulky. This is a good fit for my hands. Feels secure not like it will slip out of my hands. Does it provide optimum protection? No. But it provides plenty for me. I don't need rugged or waterproof so this works just fine. It also will fit in some of the purse pockets (not all) which is a necessity for us girls.
