Good set for the price.

These are inexpensive, but a 4-flute set like this isn't suitable for materials like aluminum. They clogged within a few inches milling corners on an aluminum bar.

I bought these to make the 'approximate' holes in 3d Printed parts the right size for embedded magnets. They work PERFECTLY, and are way quicker and easier than trying to ream out the hole to be round with a razor knife. 10/10 - perfect for me!!!

PROS: o Very affordable set of end mills CONS: o None, albeit I only used one and it was only to mill a hole in wood I can't speak to how these would work to mill metals... I cut smooth bottomed 9mm holes in some curly maple into which to install threaded inserts and it worked nicely for that.

From the photo for the product, it looked like the descending sizes went down to 5mm, then the next bit showed as 1x6x11x55. I took this to mean it a numbered bit size, which would cross reference as the next smaller in physical size. I was looking for a #1 numbered bit size. Instead, it was actually a 4mm bit. The photo was misleading. The bits worked fine on wood.

Purchased for a one off job for which they were not really made for. Putting a flat bottom in drilled holes. They worked great. I’ve also drilled half holes again which they were not really made for. They have held up excellent and have since been used for some improvised milling jobs. Far better than expected for the price and still as sharp as when new so quite durable though I have used them gently Cuts have been of good quality too For the amateur machinist these are a bargain

Okay, so on plastic or aluminium, fine. Just go slow. Steel, different story, lasted seconds before being completely blunt even going at relativity low speeds.
