The jury is still out on this. Had an issue out of the box and was requested to ship it back to manufacturer which I would not do. They sent repair parts and I fixed, for the most part, myself - it still has some rotation issues. Secondly, unit began leaking excessively about 3 weeks ago and I am now having to ship back to the manufacturer so they can diagnose and fix. Will be without the unit 7 days or more [ we paid for Next Day Air shipping upon purchase ] and, to me, this is a bit unreasonable due to the cost of this. For nearly 4000$, replacement units should be sent when the item fails so quickly

Yes it cleans better than anything else but NO it is NOT hands free. Why?Because it leaves water droplets on your record AFTER the drying cycle almost every time. WHY? Because it uses rubber wipers, like windshield wipers, that are supposed to squeegee the water off the record before the air drying phase. Neat in concept but fail in practice. Here's what happens: the wipers fail to work on all thicknesses of records. Once I put a 180g thick records through it, my 60s thin records just don't get squeegeed. Because it stretches out. This is why they added a seperate dry only cycle. BECAUSE YOU WILL NEED IT 90% OF THE TIME. Get prepared to run the system, pull the record out, dry it with a micro fiber cloth, put it back in, hold the button for six beeps to obtain the drying cycle then run it again. EVERY TIME. Now, I've used this through 600+ cycles. I've replaced the wipers three times already. They are INCREDIBLY HARD TO REPLACE; so much so that they give you THREE blades in the replacement package when you only need two. WHY? because you're likely to tear one when installing. Have fun with the installation, it's a frustrating pain.So why three stars? Because the records are cleaned better than anything else I've found and sound great. But seriously, Audio Deske, for this kinda cash, make some things that are obviously sucky work better.EDIT: I'll have to downgrade my rating to two stars. Why? I'm now on my THIRD unit. First unit lasted exactly 3,353 cleanings before its pump died. Returned for a System Pro unit. THAT unit lasted exactly 654 uses before its electric motor went out. I just received my third unit today, wondering how many uses I'll get out of it before it dies. SIGH.

I dropped my EGGO WAFFLE on the floor & it was on the floor longer than 3 seconds. So of course it now needed cleaning. I used my T shirt to wipe it clean. But I haven't changed my T shirt in 2 weeks, so the waffle now not only was still dirty now it smelled very strange. My cat is always cleaning his coat, so I grabbed him & tried to get him lick the waffle clean. After a lot of screaming & very fast cat kung fu claw action, Me & my dirty stinking waffle had a change of heart. I glanced to my right & what do I see? My wife's $4000 Audio Desk System Premium Ultrasonic Vinyl Cleaner PRO! My wife yelled from upstairs was breakfast ready yet? In a few moments! I yelled back. I turned it on & forced in the waffle. It made some noise & a puff of smoke & liquid stuff splashed out.Do you know NOT only that $4000 record cleaner won't clean or cook waffles. I don't think it would even cook bacon. My wife yelled more about breakfast & I replied "Honey I'm taking you to Waffle House instead!"

I put a copy of Richard Pryor's "That *******'s Crazy" in this machine and when I removed it and put it on the turntable, the record was only 3 1/2 minutes long. What a thorough cleaning job!

Perfect if you're in the 1% and are looking for something to throw almost $4000 away on. It's slightly better than just lighting your money on fire, but only slightly.

I purchased one of these a couple of years back and it didn't hold water. A replacement was sent and a few months later it died. A third unit was sent out and it too died just past warranty. The pump failed and it is not serviceable.Do not buy this product.When it does work it does a magnificent job. Pity they do not care about their customers.

Instructions weren't clear....... my wombats funeral will be this weekend.

Put Amy wine house in there years ago like pictured. And she never came out clean.
