It died after one use!

My son loves it!

The product works, but was not black- it was peach colored. This was for my husband's boat so...not a good color and not as specified. The package had also been opened so not sure if this really was new. I have another barnacle so I knew what to expect when I opened it.

Great little speaker, put it in your forehead.

Remember that time you bought a speaker advertised as black but received a light blue and pink one. Bought this for a gift and received the wrong color. Now need to go find another gift last minute. I am very unhappy and from the looks of it this isn't the first time this has happened.

Bought this from a local source here in San Diego, so didn't get on Amazon and can't speak to the quality and speed of the shipping. Speaker itself is awesome. Sounds better than the boombox I'm replacing with it. My wife has a cheap speaker for her iPod that's about the same size and it's terrible sound quality in comparison. Some of the super low bases still don't come through, but most do and the mids sound super clear and warm. I like to listen to music while working on cars and working outside, as well as in the shower, and this thing works perfectly. You can control volume and track from the speaker itself, as well as pause/play, so you never have to touch the phone with your dirty hands while using it. Don't have to worry about getting water on it or dirt so that's a huge plus for me. Not sure about grease and oil resistance yet, but I'm sure it will handle that fine. Looks like the rubber sealing the unit is silicone (not sure), so it will probably have good chemical resistance. I also like that I don't have to have headphone cords hanging around my neck while working with machinery, but I still have enough volume to hear it clearly at a distance, and it's so portable I can put it right next to my head if need be.
