A must-have for your Autobot army.
Had this guy on pre-order for 6 months before I was given a refund and told by Amazon that the order was canceled. They recommended ordering him again and it came within just a few days. Inferno was worth the wait. Packaging was in great condition. No QC issues. He is identical to his G1 cartoon counterpart and looks great next to his buddy Red Alert and the other Autobots. My only complaint is the poor distribution method of the Kingdom line trading cards. I have doubles and triples of the same 3 characters. Not sure why Hasbro chose to do it this way. Inferno is great though. A must-have for your Autobot army.

fantastic
Beautiful robot and firetruck. Construction is easy for young kids. Wheels are not very low so it runs well on carpet etc, but not on very flat table. Robot is very well articulated and seems sturdy

Another great update to a classic figure!
As a long time Transformers fan who had the G2 version of this toy in the 90's (basically a re-release of the original), and even wound up with an original G1 version (basically, "G1" is what we often refer the original toy line/show/comic series as), I'm actually really happy with this figure. The original Inferno was a figure that I thought looked good in both modes, and even had the additional play value of being a pretty decent fire engine with an extending ladder. I had been thinking how that figure would be so much cooler if you could pose the legs. Well, it looks like Hasbro read my mind, because this figure ticks almost all the marks I was thinking a good update should have. All those parts that you could lose but were important to transforming him? Now integrated into the figure. The wings and fists fold in and get out of the way. He posses well, with now bending knees, tilting ankles, swiveling hips and a waist swivel. His transformation also, is very heavily inspired by the G1 toy as well. For accessories, he as two nozzles) one for his hand, one for mounting elsewhere like his ladder or besides his head. Plus rolled up mock fire hoses, which strikes me as a bit odd, since the original had them permanently attached, and here, I really don't see much point in removing them from his legs. And lastly, his gun, which also is pretty cool. Inferno does suffer a bit from the current hollow inner legs/arm syndrome, but it doesn't bother me too much (I wouldn't be surprised on there's an upgrade kit out there for that). He also lacks a little paint that the original had (like black panels on his upper arms). Certainly not a deal breaker by any means, but a little black and chrome paint would have helped break up all the red on his limbs. I'll personally be adding a bit of color to him. My last issue with his is his ladder. It is cool and extends, but not as much as it should. This is a two segmented ladder, which only extends a little past the length of his truck mode... not that realistic, since an actual ladder on a fire engine needs to extend further than that to be usable in most scenarios. This is one area where the original surpasses the new one, the original had a three segment ladder that gave a good amount of length. But I can also say, this seems to be a better use of the mold than even Grapple, who was also a good figure, but had a few issues that got ironed out for Inferno. All in all, I do recommend Grapple.

My 3 year old loves it
It took a minute for me to figure out how it switches back and forth, but now even my 3 year old can transform it back and forth. He absolutely loves his "firetruck robot" and it holds up really well for him. We don't let him have the smaller attachment pieces though.

Great quality!
I’m impressed by the quality improvement of the Kingdom series. Paint is flawless, and the joints are firm (my first criteria)! Already collected several of this series, all of them are great!

This is a great figure it has amazing transformation and it looks so much like the original inferno his silver hand gun/hose is a little tricky to get off at least on mine and the fists are a little tough to pull back out unfortunately I had to toss my box out do to getting damaged during delivery and it arrived way earlier then I expected
